Great Value and excellent location.
My husband and I stayed one night in this hotel. We were moving my college son back to Sacramento and needed a near by hotel. I was impressed of the cleanliness, friendly staff and continental breakfast. We needed extra pillows and within 5 minutes of requesting the pillows they were delivered to our room. I will definitely use these folks on my next visit to San Luis Obispo.

Great Inn, great location
I was in SLO for business and this is my 4th hotel in as many trips, but it will be my last. It was comfortable, had a good breakfast, and was an easy walk to downtown SLO.

retired but by no means inactive!
Comfortable, clean and quiet!
Our second stay here. Very convenient to both San Luis Obispo and the freeway. Great breakfast. Staff friendly and efficient. Room comfortable, squeaky clean and best of all quiet. Free DVDs to watch a nice bonus.

A good place to stay
We stayed at the Sands Inn while visiting our son at Cal Poly. Very reasonable price, nice room, good service, superior breakfast. I would definitely recommend.

absolutely one of the best.
the rooms were immaculate and comfortable and we had a great time with our dog there also. The breakfast was a great send off.

Convenience and quality
A stop on our journey along the California coast at Sands Inn and Suites proved to be comfortable, convenient and especially memorable. The charming downtown and street fair at nearby Farmers' Market area provided unexpected fun. Service as well as facilities were excellent. We will surely return to the Inn!

Sands Inn & Suites
This was a very nice motel for our overnight stay in San Luis Obispo. Going through Orbitz saved us approximately $25.00 on the nightly rate and we enjoyed our stay there. It was close to downtown and the restaurant scene and the room was clean and comfortable.

Sands Inn and Suites
We checked in on a Thursday evening for one night in March. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient, our room was clean and well appointed, overall a good hotel choice if you want just a basic, but nice room.
