Tired feet and scratchy towels
If your looking for an inexpensive place to stay where all you need is a bed and shower this is perfect. There is not much else to offer here. We went to Disneyland and they told us you can catch the shuttle just a walk away at the Toy Story Parking Lot. This is no short walk expecially after a full day at Disneyland, keep this in mind.

Okay Stay
The bathroom is really big and fairly nice. The room was average; good for a one night stop if you're on a road trip. Walkable distance from downtown slo which is great because you can just leave your car at the hotel's lot as opposed to paying for parking downtown.

You get what you pay for....
We took our daughter to SLO to take a look at Cal Poly SLO. We wanted to stay near campus and thought that for the little time we would be spending in the room, all we needed was something clean and comfortable. The first room we were given had no functioning lock. We were then moved to a room that reeked of stale beer. It must have been in the carpet! We were then put in a room on the ground floor with a door that was difficult to close completely! The mini fridge and the heating/cooling system were exceedingly loud throughout the night. The beds were not a true double size - they were really small, and the desk was too small for my daughter to use to do her homework. We skipped the continental breakfast, since the cereal was in a cafeteria dispenser. Who knows how old it is?!?! It was very disappointing.

Decent
This was a decent hotel - good beds, but the room was a bit small. Not a big deal if you're not spending a lot if time there, anyway. It was a convenient location, nice management. The breakfast could've been better, but overall a good place to stay. Next time we go down we'll come back, especially if we get the same price or better.

Okay hotel, but cleanliness problems
The staff was friendly enough, and operations in general went smoothly. The rooms were adequate in size and outfitting; having a refrigerator and microwave was nice. The only complaint is that the table and headboards were a bit sticky -- it might have been the varnish, or it might have been not very clean.

Basic Hotel, Clean, Slightly Upgraded
The hotel was very basic but clean and fine. Walls were a bit thin, but we came in so late it didn't matter. Hotel staff was helpful. Continental breakfast was nothing to speak of.
