Hotel was good to stay, i will give it a 2 or 3 star rating. The hotel is close to SLO center, there some restaurants and eating places close by.
Hotel was clean and well maintained, they had breakfast served, they would make sure to fill up if
the breakfast ran out - which is very important. Also, they have a variety, so fill your self up. All in all, good hotel, we stayed there for 1 night only.
The Ramada is not luxury, but it was inexpensive, allowed our dog and was in town. Although they do allow pets, they don't have any grass for them. That was a challenge with our new puppy.
If you're looking for a place to stay, this isn't it. If
you just need a bed for the night, it is fine!
the location of the hotel was perfect for the visit to my son's new place of residence in San Luis Obispo, where he will be starting his first year of college. The college was located only a few miles down the road and it was a quick straight shot
The hotel location is also very close to the main freeway ( 101 ) and very close to the downtown area. Location was great.. The people were friendly and the continental breakfast was adequate.
Good experience overall.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short drive from hotel
Go to Higuera Sreet, downtown San Luis Obispo. Great restaurants, bars and shopping. Fun place to visit..
The worst hotel yet. NO hot water so no showers for anyone. This may not seem too bad but the reason we were up there was to run a race. So you can imagine our frustration when you check into your room and you really need a shower but there is no
hot water. I finally had to kick the incompetent hotel manager out of my room at 2am who was trying to light the pilot light. We checked out of the room at 0730 that morning. I won't bore you with all the other details but I will never go back.
Great location. Only a few blocks from downtown SLO, and right near the 101 exit. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet. A bit outdated though. Kids loved the heated pool, even though it was small. Staff was extremely friendly. The manger even
offered to help us find our tv remote, in the room, after one of our kids misplaced it. Would recommend this place if on a budget.
