The hotel is described as newly renovated...
Depending on the definition of newly I'm not sure whether this is the case. The rooms are fine but nothing special. Since the rates are moderate you get moderate value.
We booked this hotel for a
stay-over in our trip to LA and thanks the nightlife of San Luis Obispo we would book it again.
Come expecting a motel not a hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, but they were much smaller than what they look in the photos. The pool was heated but also smaller than it looked. Beds were hard. The breakfast dining area was minuscule and
could not handle a crowd. Essentially, it had 8 seats for dining, and add the sofa for the reception area. Location was great as it was close to highway 1 and 101. Also you just walked across the street for pizza or burger king or taco bell. Short walk to the downtown area.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
Note that Farmer's Market on Thursday starts at 6pm and ends at 9pm. There is food available there to eat.
Stayed at hotel after Big West basketball game at Cal Poly. Nothing especially good or bad about the room, what is expected for the price. Wifi speed was good. At hotel is a nice surprise of a cajun-style diner ... excellent cajun dishes at a
There's nothing that stands out as fabulous about this hotel, but it was perfect for our needs. It was nice to have a mini fridge and micro in the room. It's in a good location within walking distance of downtown and there are a number of fast
food places really close.
Too much noise from the street. Chips in door frames, sink drain very blocked, water in shower went very cold when someone else used water, bad coffee. However, it was clean and registration service was OK. Overall, didn't seem woth the price.
Hotels across the street half the price.
