Business Trip
Stayed here for visit to Cal Poly Career Fair. Great location, close to the campus and an easy walk to downtown. The room was a great size for the price. They have free beer, wine and coctails until 7pm. I arrived at 7:20pm but the receptionist was still kind enough to let me chose a beer out of their gift shop. I'll stay here next time, without question.

Great family getaway
Fantastic staff. Everyone is friendly and professional. You have great drinks and breakfast included. A poolside meal in the evening is perfect with the kids. Just a short walk and your in the heart of San Luis Obispo. We loved it.

Comfortable Accommodations
Spacious, comfortable suite. Managers special on complimentary beer or wine nightly from 5:30-7:30pm was exactly what I needed to end the night. Very nice touch to a great evening. Came w/ an evening BBQ and the complimentary breakfast room in the morning was one of the largest I've seen in a while.

The hotel room smelled like smoke. The bedding was good. The breakfast included was a surprise and the staff at the breakfast room took us even after the designated time. So they were nice! The bathroom was small as they made every effort to maximize space.

Pleasantly Surprised!
Was in SLO to visit my son who's a college student there. VERY nice hotel, will definitely stay there again next time. OUTSTANDING daily Happy Hour, which includes FREE unlimited beer and wine. Not just any beer, but from local microbrewery Firestone. These beers go for around $5 a pint around town. Great Happy Hour BBQ as well, with no item over $3. Best complimentary breakfast I've had at a hotel (other than a special convention, etc.). Made to order fresh eggs, sausage and waffles, along with fruits, yogurts, breads, cereals, juices, coffee, etc. Excellent! Very nice fitness room. Small, but comfortable. Air conditioned, flat screen TV, high-end exercise equipment. Nice outdoor pool and Jacuzzi as well. Rooms are a bit dated and although comfortable, could use some sprucing up. All-in-all, a very nice hotel. My new home base for my SLO visits.

A hidden gem, the Lincoln Deli has sandwiches that are out of this world! Try the tri-tip at Firestone Grill... amazing! for an upscale dinner, I suggest Novo. Make advanced reservations to secure a table creekside.

First time at a Quality Inn
Walls were a little thin. Everytime someone rolled their suitcase past your room, you could hear it over the TV because the walkway has a 'cobblestone' texture. It's even worse when the housekeeping carts roll by. Hotel has a BBQ at least five nights a week and a free 'off the menu' breakfast every morning. GREAT place to relax... GREAT bargain!

Every Thursday night, there is a three-block-long Farmer's Market in downtown with lots of food and entertainment. Most of the stores are open during this event which makes it even more appealing.

Great Amenities for One-Night Stay
I was in San Luis Obispo for one night to visit a friend and was alone so I wanted a hotel that was centrally located and where I felt secure. This hotel is in a great location. My room was clean and spacious and accommodated all of my needs. In addition to the room, the hotel provided late afternoon wine, beer and snacks and a great breakfast in the morning. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel to my friends.
