We had stayed at a motel 2 nights before this and o man we thought we hit the lottery!! so grateful they had room and allowed us to stay on the first floor. We have a 1 yr old and a 3 year old and we are not fans of stairs and balcony. They allowed us to have free milk from the breakfast room all day even when it was closed if we had forgotten to bring it with us. The rooms were spacious and allowed it to be really dark during the day in the room part so the kids could nap. We sat in the living area and watched tv played ont he ipad and even sat out on the patio chairs right out the door while the kids napped. Then the pool area was so clean and lots of room kids loved that too. Lastly but for sure not least they had a 4 star breakfast and dinner compliments of the hotel. Great food great staff and great ammendiies!! we love you guys and will always come back. O yeah air conditioning a must and it ran great

Business Trip
Stayed here for visit to Cal Poly Career Fair. Great location, close to the campus and an easy walk to downtown. The room was a great size for the price. They have free beer, wine and coctails until 7pm. I arrived at 7:20pm but the receptionist was still kind enough to let me chose a beer out of their gift shop. I'll stay here next time, without question.

Great family getaway
Fantastic staff. Everyone is friendly and professional. You have great drinks and breakfast included. A poolside meal in the evening is perfect with the kids. Just a short walk and your in the heart of San Luis Obispo. We loved it.

Comfortable Accommodations
Spacious, comfortable suite. Managers special on complimentary beer or wine nightly from 5:30-7:30pm was exactly what I needed to end the night. Very nice touch to a great evening. Came w/ an evening BBQ and the complimentary breakfast room in the morning was one of the largest I've seen in a while.

college visit
The hotel room smelled like smoke. The bedding was good. The breakfast included was a surprise and the staff at the breakfast room took us even after the designated time. So they were nice! The bathroom was small as they made every effort to maximize space.

Pleasantly Surprised!
Was in SLO to visit my son who's a college student there. VERY nice hotel, will definitely stay there again next time. OUTSTANDING daily Happy Hour, which includes FREE unlimited beer and wine. Not just any beer, but from local microbrewery Firestone. These beers go for around $5 a pint around town. Great Happy Hour BBQ as well, with no item over $3. Best complimentary breakfast I've had at a hotel (other than a special convention, etc.). Made to order fresh eggs, sausage and waffles, along with fruits, yogurts, breads, cereals, juices, coffee, etc. Excellent! Very nice fitness room. Small, but comfortable. Air conditioned, flat screen TV, high-end exercise equipment. Nice outdoor pool and Jacuzzi as well. Rooms are a bit dated and although comfortable, could use some sprucing up. All-in-all, a very nice hotel. My new home base for my SLO visits.

A hidden gem, the Lincoln Deli has sandwiches that are out of this world! Try the tri-tip at Firestone Grill... amazing! for an upscale dinner, I suggest Novo. Make advanced reservations to secure a table creekside.
