Motel 6 San Luis Obispo South

Well located for touring wine country in San Luis Obsispo and close enough to Paso Robles. This is your basic sleeping room. Yes a TV, but that's about it. Clean, comfortable bed, and friendly staff. Best pick is an inside room on the second floor. Very good value.

Motel 6 is synonymous to a cozy retreat away from home. I grew up with Motel 6. The reception at the motel was cordial and caring. The location just off north 101 was very convenient. Many choose Motel 6 for its simplicity, its comfort and reasonable prices. The short walking distance to breakfast was excellent, too. We came to visit Cal Poly. But we also got to know San Luis Obispo as a friendly and family oriented town. Thank you Motel 6 and SLO. You're the best!

The room door doesn't fit the space made for it, light from outside showed all the way around the door. The bed was as hard as the floor.

I with my son arrived there too late around 11:40 PM. The front desk was still open because I was worry to hear some motels had the limit to open. I was very glad it was located on the good location nearest 101 freeway to find it easily. Also, room inside was very clean and new (I don't know it was re-modeled) Bed is very confortable and clean. Everything is OK. Thank you.

1.We went to pismo beach for the 4th of july. 2.yes. if there was a microwave and a mini frige, coffee maker?? would made it soo much better. 3.It was okay noticed the little things mattered more on this trip than ever before.

So I knew I wasn't getting a GREAT room when I booked but I couldn't even breathe in my room. Someone must have been smoking in that room cuz it reeked of old cigarette smoke, and the paint fumes in the bathroom were unbearable. I started having an asthma attack and had to check out. They offered to put me in a different room but I decided to just drive the 3 hours back home after the wedding I was attending instead. They were able to refund me half of my money which is a good thing because I was only in the room for half an hour! I would suggest paying the extra money to stay somewhere else a little cleaner, like the Courtyard Marriot next door to it.

This was our last night of a 3-week road trip, and it was just a stop-over on our way home. The motel was excellent for a Motel 6. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Every Motel 6 we stayed in gave us a senior discount [...]. In general, Motel 6 offers the fewest amenities of several other brands we tried on this trip in the same price range:one rather small pillow per person, no shampoo or hair dryer, only one bedside table on one side of a queen bed, no complimentary breakfast, no free wifi. But we would stay at this one again if we needed to stay overnight in the area.

Wine tasting/wine club party with my husband. Just wanted a place to crash at night. This place fit the bill and the price tag. Haven't stayed in a motel since I was a cash-strapped undergrad, but was not expecting the Ritz Carlton. No toiletries (besides a small bar of soap), small thin towels, no hair dryer, no flat screens, super small shower/tub. Could hear everything outside our door. BUT, it was clean and updated with new (cheap) furnishings. Bed was tolerable, AC worked well. If I needed a cheap place again, I would stay. Seems better than other similar options in the area. Good location too.

We had a pleasant experience at this Motel 6. The rooms were very clean and the staff was helpful when we asked to change to a quieter room on the back of the building. We would stay here again.But next time, we're definitely saving some time for the pool!

It was ok we just slept and showered there.
