Comfy & Convenient

I've been staying here for years, beginning when my son went to Cal Poly. The hotel is close to Cal Poly, downtown and the freeway. The hotel is more intimate than larger chains which makes it convenient to park and access. All of the rooms have small patios and the surrounding trees and landscaping frame nice views from each room. Quiet, too!

Close to everything in SLO!

Ok, This hotel was great cause it was just outside Downtown SLO and don't have all the noise from staying in closer to town. Had a great room, soft bed, a desk witch was great to study on and a balcony with great views. Right off highway 101, makes it great to get in and out. Would recommend a bike to enjoy the beauty of the town, Very close ride. Staff was friendly but were a bit on the slow end when checking in. Breakfast was like any other place I have stayed at. Overall Great Place! Next time I'm in town this is my new place to stay.

Bubblegum alley on 700 block of higuera. Cool to look at and leave something behind. Just don't lean in wall you'll get stuck! J/k

very accomodating staff!

Check in was quick, the room was clean and quiet. The remodeled bathroom was quite nice. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed my stay thoroughly because the hotel was perfectly situated for all my destinations..cal poly, the beach, a run, breakfast, downtown.. Can't beat it for the price.

You can run to the main street that heads into Cal Poly campus and then run up and over a hill for an 8 mile loop. Loved it.

Splendid Stay!

La Questa Inn in SLO was a very pleasant surprise! Room was spacious, very clean, quiet and comfortable. Nice little balcony, in room coffeemaker...a must for me...and quality complimentary toiletries right down to the charming little rubber ducky on my tub. Staff was very personable and accommodating. Pool and Spa were convenient and tidy with plenty of seating. Afternoon tea was nice but the continental breakfast was the best I've ever seen in an Inn....just fabulous....so much variety and the lobby smelled so inviting with the little bake-them-yourself waffles. Rates were very competitive. Location was nearly perfect.... freeway close with shopping and dining nearby and just blocks from downtown, Cal Poly, & the Mission. I will definately return, soon and often!

Great location and value.

La Cuesta is very good value and makes one feel welcome. Love the A.F. restaurant. So we had the best of both worlds - a modern room and a great restaurant across the street.
