warm and friendly staff, 24-hour minimart
Very friendly staff. We have a toddler who loves his milk. So the 24-hour minimart with cartons of milk and yogurts are great for keeping the kid happy. And they are not outrageously expensive either. $1 for the 12-oz milk. Love the King size bed and clean bedding. My husband never really care the bathroom, but he made a point to show me how nice the bathroom was set up, which I agreed. The only complaint: I wish there were tea bags along with the coffee in the room. I love my tea.

convenient location for shopping locally as well as close enough for sightseeing the city, morro bay, and pismo beach.

turn left down the main street and there is a shopping center. panda panda open til after 10 on saturday night and food is excellent.

Clean room and quiet location
Nicely appointed hotel. Clean rooms with a nice lounge area. But, just make sure your credit card is not billed again because they double billed my credit card when I checked out. I told the woman at the front desk that I already paid for the room through [...] However, she was not friendly, and did not give me credit back. I called them later and [...], the manger, was very helpful and gave me credit back finally.

Average for price
This is a nice hotel. However, I guess "Courtyard" connotes the cheaper version. For the price of this hotel, I still expect a robe, better bed and larger room. An breakfast that is included in the price would be nice. That said, the staff were very nice and everything was clean. Ask for a room at the far end and you get a view. The food at the hotel was pretty good.

A pleasant place to stay.
The staff was very polite and helpful. We had breakfast and found it very nice with a good selection of fresh fruit, eggs cooked to order and a variety of cereals and breads.

California Travels
Courtyard Marriot, San Luis Obispo
The location of this hotel is good if you are spending time in the Pismo Beach, San Luis Obispo, and Morro Bay area. It was about a 5 min. drive away from downtown San Luis Obispo. Although this hotel has a nice lobby and outside appearance, we found the room to be very average, and were disappointed that it smelled of damp. For the price paid (+$200) we could have stayed oceanfront in Pismo Beach. Cleanliness, breakfast buffet, and overall room size were all average.

Great weekend
New hotel with nice, clean rooms located right next to Hwy 101. Impressed with service provided by both the front desk and the dining room. Would definitely stay there again.

BEST SISTER
FantasticMarriot stay in San Luis Obispo
On a family visit: This is by far, was the BEST hotel in the area for an extended or even just an overnight stay! Comfortable and clean rooms, great ammenities including convenient dining at the hotel! And easy check-in and check-out. By far, a superior alternative to sleeping on the floor at a relative's home! (I'm getting too old for that!) They made a great visit even BETTER! This is my favorite hotel to stay in for every trip to the area! Thanks for the convenient links and registration! klg
