Roomy accommodations in San Luis Obispo
Roughly halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, the Best Western Somerset Inn makes for a great stopping-off point in a long journey. The rooms are big, the pool is inviting, and the continental breakfast is included in the price. A hot tub is also available to relax the muscles of tired travelers. The renovated inn is within walking distance of many attractions in the delightful city of San Luis Obispo.

Best Western Somerset Inn

Easy access
Didn't really do anything besides sleep, but having access right off the 101 meant it was easy pulling into the hotel before falling into bed. The bathroom was a little small, but otherwise everything was fine.

Quick and easy
My girlfriend and I arrived late on our way to LA. Staff came to the door quickly despite it being 1am. Check I was a breeze. The room was cozy and close to downtown. This was a great room for the value and location.

Pleasant stay
Nice quiet hotel. Rooms are nice and large. Windows that open if you like fresh air as we do. Nice area. Convenient to freeways and to Higuera Street. We would stay here again.

Long walk from hotel
Mclintocks, the best ribeye steak you'll ever eat. And the garlic fries were the best!!! Choose to eat creek side, nice atmosphere and less noisy then inside.

Clean and Affordable
Location was near downtown SLO and easily accessible by highway. Room was clean, plenty of parking, fairly spacious. Affordable and good wifi connection always a plus =)

slo experience
just ok but not for the price
the accomodations were just okay. Not enough towels, breakfast was awful...coffee was like water, nothing seemed fresh. A friend was staying at a nearby motel for 1/2 the price I paid here and had cleaner, better accomodations.

meet our needs
It met our need for one night, but will like to have more comfortable bedding and more variety in breakfast The insultation is not very good, can hear door close/open and traffic of other rooms

Simple but comfortable
If you don't mind no granite in the bathroom, this place is just fine. spotlessly clean. In room frig. Real coffee machine so you can brew your own Starbucks (which we did; so much better!). Close to Cal Poly and a short jaunt to downtown.
