Located in the thick of San Jose's business district, the Wyndham San Jose Hotel offers stunning views of the Silicon Valley skyline. The oversized rooms, many of them updated in 2010, are only half the appeal, though. Water leaking in the bathroom from the roof into the tub. Computers and printers not working. Room service bad. Over all not a place we want to stay in again.

Clean & eco-conscious
this hotel was really close to the airport and though the neighborhood was a little bit concerning in terms of the other businesses around, the hotel felt safe. I could never get the in-room internet access to work (wired or wireless) but they had a business center with a computer I could use. The hotel felt very "green.”

Private and quiet
The room was somewhat unremarkable, but had everything that was needed except a refrigerator and microwave, but including the clock with readable time, a desk and the Gideon Bible. I appreciated the reserved parking, quietness of the location and availability of the business center with a swipe of my room card, plus the 7-11 next door for any necessities. It was especially wonderful in the morning to find gas and the airport without any delay or difficulty, it was exactly what I needed.

Great Price and convenient
The staff and hotel accomodations were great. Added value with access to VTA for all day travel to and from downtown meetings and meals for only $6.00. Wednesday night wine and snacks were an added treat. Try the San Jose Special on the breakfast menu for a real treat!

Nightlife tip:
Short drive from hotel
You would not like to walk around the area. Especially at night. Two blocks away from a Denny"s and some the characters walking around were not those that I would like to strike up a conversation with.
