"The good, the bad, and the really ugly"

This was the worst experience I have ever encountered staying at a hotel and I have stayed at some pretty awful places. The first night there the jacuzzi tub flooded the room and hallway of hotel, so they relocated us to another room for the night. I was using the sink the next morning and it to over flowed I ran my finger around drain and cigarette butts come out with ashes. My wife has asthma and her lungs burned the whole time there and we asked for a NON-SMOKING room and she is not the complaining type. There were stains on ALL the appliances and floors just walking on the carpet stained our socks, the word "THUG LIFE" was carved in the desk. They relocated us to another room and the floor in that room was ballooning do to the fact that water got under the flooring and caused water damage. There were prostitutes hanging out by the hotel. I told management we wanted our funds back[...]. I also asked for more batteries for tv remote. maintenance arrived took the batteries out then pointed his cell phone at them and looked at his phone and stated "my phone indicates they (BATTERIES) are fine you must had loaded them wrong. Since when can a cell phone detect battery power. I WILL NEVER REFER NOR STAY AT VALLEY PARK AGAIN!!!!!

Absolutely Horrible!!!!

To celebrate our anniversary, my wife and I thought we would visit the Winchester Mystery House. This hotel was conveniently located and had a great rate. However, you definitely get what you pay for. The hotel is old, which we thought would give it charm. When arriving we saw construction garbage piled up at one end of the parking lot and a few old, dirty mattresses at the other end. The floor our room was on and our room had a nasty smell to it. There was mold and other filth in the bathroom/tub and through out the entire room. Just gross! There was no way I was letting my pregnant wife sleep in this room. I know the price is tempting but don't do it!!!

They're due for a major makeover

This hotel needs a major renovation. I kept the tv on to mask the noise from the vents or ac system. I didn't get a lot of sleep. B'fast was ok. Bring your own towel.

The Shining - Part II

Wow, what an amazing night! Perhaps the most noisy hotel I've ever spent the night in; not only the foot traffic in the hotel, but the traffic driving by. The hotel room was quite large (it should be for the grande suite), but have you ever heard of the saying, "putting lipstick on a pig"? Not only did we have the traffic, and the noisy neighbors, but there was a broken built-in refrigerator that cycled every two minutes throughout the night. When I went to check out in the morning, the person at the desk was sleeping! I guess I can understand because we were up so early ourselves from the lack of sleep.
