Handsome central San Jose boutique hotel for both work and play
A central San Jose location and stylish, neo-traditional design bring travelers of both the business and leisure variety to Joie de Vivre's Moorpark Hotel. On-site restaurant Park Bar & Grill, is a convenient stop for a beer and a burger, but Santana Row is less than two miles away and offers a plethora of dining and drinking options, too. Other appealing property amenities include a billiards loft, a heated outdoor pool and a fitness center with free weights and an assortment of cardio equipment.

overall the hotel stay was pleasant. Would have been nice if they could offer at least 1 cup of cofee or have the availlabity of purchasing a cup nearby or to have a coffee maker at the customers's disposal. ofcourse, they had the coffe for purchase. I felt after paying a good sum for the stay alone, the customer should n't have to buy the K-cup to make a cup of cofee if they want. thank you

Hotel was great
Man this place is awesome. Very posh rooms and the staff was very nice. Right near the freeway so everything was close. You can't ask for more and the price was outstanding. Ill be back for sure!!!

excellent service
This is a nice hotel that comes at a great price. I was very comfortable in this well decorated modern boutique hotel and the service was excellent. Just minutes from Santana Row and a shopping mall. I will definitely stay here in the future when I need to come back to this area.

San Jose's best kept secret
What a great hotel! This hotel is San Jose's best kept secret. Great location. Thanks to Matthew at the front desk who gave us a back way to get to the airport, very close. The hotel is well appointed and has really great amenities. Adrain who checked us in was great. Great breakfast in the morning in a nice room that overlooked the pool. Clean, quiet. I would say it is one of my favorite hotels I have stayed in.

Nice comfortable room with couch and great work table for computer. Convenient and close to several restaurants. Good restaurant in hotel for breakfast and dinner. Would definitely stay there again. Great front desk personnel, polite, friendly and very helpful.

Not a 4 stars hotel!
Tried to believe it is 4 stars hotel but it is not! Doesn't feel that warm welcome like I used to get at other 4 stars hotels.

Super Comfy Bed
My gf and I rarely have great nights of sleep when sharing a bed but the bed at the Moorpark was splendid. The sheets were very nice and felt good and the bed itself was quite firm. All in all I slept the whole night and so did she. Also, we adjusted the temperature in the room and there was no noisy unit kicking on and off the whole night that we noticed.

Surprise luxury at bargain price
It was great - front desk staff were very helpful- called to ensure we liked the room shortly after we checked in, We were only there for one night, but enjoyed it very much. Welcoming lobby, nice bed, clean room. Nice 'mini bar' snacks from which to choose, bathroom well appointed. We took a card to remember the place - and would recommend.
