Handsome central San Jose boutique hotel for both work and play
A central San Jose location and stylish, neo-traditional design bring travelers of both the business and leisure variety to Joie de Vivre's Moorpark Hotel. On-site restaurant Park Bar & Grill, is a convenient stop for a beer and a burger, but Santana Row is less than two miles away and offers a plethora of dining and drinking options, too. Other appealing property amenities include a billiards loft, a heated outdoor pool and a fitness center with free weights and an assortment of cardio equipment.

Nice comfortable room with couch and great work table for computer. Convenient and close to several restaurants. Good restaurant in hotel for breakfast and dinner. Would definitely stay there again. Great front desk personnel, polite, friendly and very helpful.

Not a 4 stars hotel!
Tried to believe it is 4 stars hotel but it is not! Doesn't feel that warm welcome like I used to get at other 4 stars hotels.

Super Comfy Bed
My gf and I rarely have great nights of sleep when sharing a bed but the bed at the Moorpark was splendid. The sheets were very nice and felt good and the bed itself was quite firm. All in all I slept the whole night and so did she. Also, we adjusted the temperature in the room and there was no noisy unit kicking on and off the whole night that we noticed.

Surprise luxury at bargain price
It was great - front desk staff were very helpful- called to ensure we liked the room shortly after we checked in, We were only there for one night, but enjoyed it very much. Welcoming lobby, nice bed, clean room. Nice 'mini bar' snacks from which to choose, bathroom well appointed. We took a card to remember the place - and would recommend.

Wonderful
Front desk personnel was the best. Very helpful. We felt hotel was a great value. Perfect location for our needs. Tried to leave a day early, but traffic was very bad, simply called back to hotel and they reopened our room and we spent one more night. We will use the Moorpark on our next trip to San Jose.

Lovely experience.. Stayed Christmas eve and Christmas night. and found Moorpark Hotel to be warm and comforting for holiday travelers. Extremely hospitable staff. Convenient location, close to freeway.

Don't hesitate!
Great location, great staff, great valve, perfect room. Made a last minute reservation, very accomodating. Can't wait to find a reason to stay again!

Convenience accommodation.
Location was only adequate, as were the amenities. It would have been nice to have some sort of a kitchenette or at least a microwave.

Nice Boutique Hotel
Very good remodel of an older hotel. Very comfortable quiet room, well located near downtown San Jose, Los Gatos, and Saratoga. Easy drive to the Sharks game and back. Nice pool and spa with cabanas and nice decor. Breakfast was included and very enjoyable.
