Oh Boy
After arriving my reservation was not in the hotel database. So I had to call to fix the situation manually, then finally check-in later after the issue was resolved. Upon the stay, the fire alarm in the hotel went off by accident/malfunction at 9:30am; waking the entire hotel up when check-out is at 12pm.

Wonderful Location and Helpful Staff
Pros: Great location! Good breakfast, friendly staff, large rooms. Cons: The V-bar can be very noisy and night for rooms facing the courtyard. The pool is small and gets very crowded

Valencia review
I was in town for an interview, and being at this posh but peaceful hotel gave me the serenity to rest well the night before. I also ordered room service, and found the food to be delivered very quickly and to be delicious. There is a yummy gourmet pizza place across the street and they came to my room to deliver.

In Hotel
This hotel in literally in the middle of Santana row, which is an elegant line of mid-higher end stores, so shopping is easy and the feeling of luxury permeates through the hotel as well as the shopping district. There are also plenty of good restaurants on the block.
