Rest in Peace
Attended AMORC conference. Very close to AMORC, as well as to downtown. Desk service was freindly, proficient, and extremely helpful in providing driving directions. Parking was very close to entrance, and much parking was sheltered. I only wish such a place existed locally for out of town guests

San Jose driving is most difficult. Streets are peculiarly layed out and trafic moves rapidly. Street name signs are not lighted at night. A city map (and a navigator) would be most helpful; although, hotel desk service is most helpful with providing directions.

for great vacation!
-very friendly staff and great customer service. -room is good enough size and has a big extra mirror for hair set/make up outside the bathroom. that's +! -serves breakfast every morning. -CVS is right next door. very convenient

great deal
This hotel was very good, clean, and the service was great. Breakfast was good, like a restaurant. The location was excellent, close to everything. Close to the commuter train, can walk to the train. Room was big.

Close to HP Pavilion
I booked this hotel, because it was close to HP Pavilion. It's also a few blocks away from the Light Rail which was also a plus. The hotel was okay for a less than 24 hour visit. Bed was comfortable. It also came with a fridge and microwave. CVS is next door, which was perfect for picking up some TV dinners since there aren't that many restaurants in the vicinity.

Nice and quiet, great location
we stayed at Arena hotel for a couple of days while our house was taken over by pest-control folks. We had a month old infant with us and were planning to stay indoor most of the time. The room was very clean and nice. It was also quiet enough for our baby to sleep through the two days. The staff was also very courteous and helpful. We wrongly got booked for a room with a king bed instead of two queens. But we were able to resolve it easily over phone. The only thing below expectation was the breakfast. It was cold and underwhelming compared to equivalent three star hotel. But it was still passable. We would definitely consider this hotel again in future.

Second visit to the hotel, still as grea
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. And it has been a perfect option for the price range. The location is great, staff is good, and its very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is provided and there are multiple food / cafe options within a couple of blocks.
