Warwick San Francisco Hotel

Clean room, lots of hot water in the shower, pleasant and helpful staff. Street noise a bit much for a country bumpkin.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The location was amazing . The services at the hotel were good.

Easy location two blocks from Union Square and a short walk to/from BART and the cable cars. Nice, smaller boutique hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff, free coffee, cookies. The cafe adjacent to the hotel is very nice as well, very good breakfast and reasonable pricing. Not sure why anyone would double or triple for another hotel.

This hotel was a nice little nook of refuge in downtown San Francisco. Just on the edge of the nice parts of downtown, it was almost next door to a great deli and a short walk from downtown shopping, dining, and the Powell-Mason cable car line. The staff was quite helpful and friendly and the room, though small, was comfortable and sufficient to needs. Did not like having to pay for wifi/internet, but that appears to be common for the big downtown hotels. Essentially, I'd definitely consider staying there again. It was a hotel that was worth the time and money spent for the experience.

The Warwick Regis Hotel San Francisco reminded me of an older, in-town European hotel -- tighter spaces and darker decor than the new American hotels. However, the public areas do have touches of elegance (piano in a small but plush lobby, uniformed doorman) and the room, while obviously carved out of a formerly larger space, was quite comfortable, clean, and well serviced. The shower was actually larger than anything you'll find in Europe, or in most American city hotels for that matter. For a closet there was a freestanding, creaky wooden armoire -- a little tight, but perfectly functional and kind of funky. And then there's the neighborhood! You are a short stroll from Union Square and surrounded by world class hotels that charge many times more. Unless you are rich or on a corporate card, the Warwick is an unbeatable value and a smart alternative to the St. Francis, etc.

The Warwick Regis in San Francisco was a great value for us. Our business conference was just a few blocks away and near all our other meetings around Union Square. I wish it had a small fitness room, but overall for the stay it was excellent. The handy towne cars for hire were excellent too.

The rooms are more than worth the price. They're small but have an elegant and personable feel. The staff could have been more helpful, but for the location and room, it's well worth it.
