Beware

Booked room for one person. Ended up with 4 people on the trip. They charged me an extra $$$$ (price omitted) to get a room with a second bed when I arrived. I have booked a room for one person at other hotels and as plans change arrived with more, but i have never been charged. I do not believe the charge was fair as the way the front desk person explained to me.

Run for your life

I was there for 2 days. The room was extremely musty, small and the stairway unkempt.[...]The "continental break fast" was 2 stale muffins on a tray.As low as this place costed it was still a rip off. I would not stay there for free if I could help.Although the second day customer service was better it was too late.

Worst Place to Stay Ever

This was the worst hotel i have every tried to stay in. Literal for $30 we could have stayed in the Hilton. The door jam was broken making the door hard to open but also kept it from locking properly. We asked for non smoking but the room smelled horrible like smoke especially when we turned the air on. The pictures on line made the room look spacious but when we got there the were little hobbit rooms. The parking spaces were very small and contrary to the picture on line there is no fountain.

My review of Vagabond Inn San Francisco

The Vagabond Inn in San Francisco was very comfortble and clean and easy to find. The Inn is very security conscious and having the rooms behind a locked gate was very comforting since we were all women in the two rooms. The continentl breakfast was fresh and the coffee hot. It was conveniient to the location of the buildings in which we were having our meeting.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There were two huge Deprtment stores within walking distance and a short drive would get you to Market street with more shopping, dining and historical buuildings.
