Travelodge by the Bay

When we arrived the counter guy was on break but he soon returned. We specifically asked for a Handicap Accessible room which we were given. When we got to our room it was right next to the front desk and was not acceptable to us. We asked the front desk man ([...]) if we could have another room and he was very accommodating. He suggested a room for us to check out to see if it was acceptable. It was a much better room towards the back of the complex so no street noise and had 1 1/2 baths. It was not a luxury room but very decent for our stay since we spent most of our time exploring the city. He also gave us tips on bus routes and trolley cars to sightsee. I would stay there again. Parking was $12 daily and the room rate wasn't bad either for that area. Very close to Pier 39 and the Embarcadero.

There was a lot of shopping near where we were and there seems to be a Walgreen's every mile in this city.

First trip to SF and it sucked!

Room was ok. The bathroom door was ripped up. The danishes I never knew about. I went to the lobby at 9am and all was gone. No free local calls [...] Front desk was rude at check in. Lots of prostitution and homless.

Lombard Cafe was delicious. Don't go to Dotties True Blue. People urinate in front of you outside and smoke crack. Food sucks there too.

yeah...its alright

New years eve, needed a place to sleep for the night. Nothing at all special about this place, pretty decent location and (relatively) cheap parking. Could have been much worse...

Good Location

Location is good, walkable distance to Fisherman's Wharf if you like to walk. Room was clean, staff was friendly, room size was a good deal for the price, nothing fancy but certainly adequate. Parking was onsite, which is important, no other amenties, but we did not need them. SF is your amenity!

Not what I expected

Well its not as close to Fishermans Wharf as they make it seem and its noisy the walls are paper thin it seems and parking was not included as they had stated on their site. One of the guys at the check in desk is kind of rude.
