Travelodge San Francisco Airport North

This is just your average hotel when you need someplace to stay that is close to the airport.

I needed sleep from cross country and Pacific flights. Quiet and comfey bed. They should let you check in on their computer for free. I would stay again. Price assurance gave me a little money back. Life is Good

SMELLED MILDEWEY, CRAMPED, BUS STOP PEOPLE OUTSIDE OFFICE. TENANTS EVERYWHERE! NOT FOR VACTIONERS, BUT RATHER FOR SOMEONE GETTING IN REAL LATE FROM AIRPORT JUST TOCRASH FOR NIGHT. INTERNET DID NOT WORK! I WOULD ONLY RECOMMEND THIS FOR PRICE AND PROXIMITY TO AIRPORT,

I don't think I am a picky person at all before and I have never left any comment either good or bad until I stayed at this hotel. Let me warn you of this place. First, my room had new door trim done and it was not even painted or even primed. It had wood surface that was not even smoothed out. I thought it was just looks so did not care until I tried to sleep. It was a mickey mouse job. It had about 1/3 to 1/2 inch gap and cold air was blowing in. I called to report, and they said "I will send a maintenance" That was close to midnight and it never happened. On top of that, heater was unbearably loud and not warm enough. Second, it's location. I did not know SF airport allow flights after midnight. There were flights arriving after two in the morning. Very noisy place. Third, there were a group of people who also stayed there and they were talking and yelling while smoking several times the night as late as two in the morning right in front of my door. No control over that, but when I called the front desk, they told me that they will send security, yet it never happened. I could not go back to sleep for like an hour. Fourth, having unimaginable experiences the night before I slept in until like 8:40. We heard house keeping knocking on the door. My wife tried to answer it, and within only a couple of seconds, she walked in. House Keeping at 8:40 in the morning? and entering the room that quick expecting nobody would be in? Then, my wife went to get a cup of water from the dining area as they were serving "continental breakfast" from 6-9. It was about quarter to 9. The front desk guy simply nodded his head no first and told her it's too late. We did not want breakfast... it was just sip of water in the morning before we go to someplace else for warm breakfast. But, the treatment by the staff was not nice at. When I tried to file a complaint, representative tried to see what happened, the response that they got was nothing was found in the system and nothing can be done. Of course, they did not fix the door and they did not follow up with security and the house keeper. So, you will all know what to expect here. I know I chose a cheap hotel just to get a night of sleep en route before I get to my final destination and relax, and it has always worked fine until I hit this land mine.

it was the worst experience i have ever felt.....maybe the hotel set us to the most ugliest room they had, but i all i know is that i am never going back there ever again. oh and the so called hotel ruined our entire trip for my children becuase my kids woke up with bed-bug bites. so sad

First night I was in a room without a closet or any space to hang clothes. I had to used doorknobs. The bed was lumpy and sweaty. I requested room a for disabled person. But, I received a disabled room. Parking wast 200 feet from room. The last night was no better. Paint peeling off walls. The bed was lumpy, I felt the springs on my back. And, the pillows stank with stale sweat.

Everything was fine for the paid price BUT the wireless internet was very slow.

We checked in at the hotel late at night, the staff was not very nice. We entered the room and was shocked by the look of the room. Covers had holes in them, the sheets were dirty and our room's carpet was soaking wet we couldn't even walk around the room without our shoes and when i called the front desk several times to change rooms no one would answer. We checked out of there the next morning, even though we were supposed to be there for 4 nights. I have never had a worst experience with a hotel in my life!

Old and run down. The rooms need taken care of, Carpet was dirty and disgusting, curtian liners had moth holes and falling apart. Bathroom tiles were flaking and old. Staff first checked me into a room that was already occupied. Won't ever stay here again.

After flying all day long, we arrived in San Francisco and waited over an hour for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport. It finally showed up and was full of people and the driver told us that he would be back in about 25 minutes. Then a different shuttle driver for other hotels ended up taking us to this hotel. Then we were put in Building 7, which was about a mile down the parking lot. It was dark out and we had to drag our luggage over speed bumps and then up 2 flights of stairs. It was actually scary to be that far away with no street lights or anything at that time of night. I will never stay at this hotel again.
