Hidden gem in the Marina District

SF is a wonderful city, but expensive, and it's hard to find a dependable place to stay that's affordable, and in a safe area. This hotel fits the bill. Cheap rooms with all you need, that are clean and comfortable and not much else. The room I had was recently renovated, so the shower, toilet, sink etc. were all clean, solid and good quality without issues. Bed was comfortable, though room was a little cold due to poor seal under door letting the air and road noise in. Just a small thing, really, as the service was spectacular and they were extremely helpful in getting me around town. Bus stop right around the corner takes you to downtown, and nearby is the bridge, Presidio, Marina and G. Square. All you need and for a great price!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Right down the street is an iHop, but also a low key privately owned breakfast place that serves HUGE breakfasts for what in SF is a low price. I got an omellette for about $12 tax included, which came with a scone, pancakes, potatoes, toast and you name it. Way more than I could eat, and as I said in SF that is a cheap deal. They also have a great selection of seafood breakfast items, and other goodies for lunch etc. Great service too, and oh yeah, the food was great too. :D

Good Staff, Marginal Bed, Ice Machine Broken

The gentleman at the reception counter, Mr. Patel, was excellent, the parking fine, the location perfect for the Marine and bustling neighborhood. My Review Title says the rest.

Decent for it's price and location

Nice staff, clean rooms and conveniently located to restaurants and touristy spots such as Fisherman's Wharf. My only complaint is the noisiness and the thin mattress. The people near our room were being very loud... walls are thin! Other than that, everything was nice :)

This was our first trip to san fran. Walked to pier 39,Ghiradelli and chrissy field.Lots of restaurants by hotel. We also went to sonoma/napa and entrance to Golden Gate Bridge was right by hotel.Bathrooms were just remodeled!!We would definitely consider this location again on future visits.Staff was pleasant and informative.Very easy to get around(took cable car to market st & cab to AT & T park for ballgame)

One week in San Francisco

The room was clean and modern but thats where the fun ended. Two things made this a bad experience. First and foremost was the bed. You can actually run your hand down it and count the springs.very cheap quality. And the accompanying pillows were completely flat. Second theres no soundproofing. Being right off of Lombard, you can hear all of the traffic going by. It's much quieter if you try to sleep in the bathtub. It is close to the marina so you can easily grab some good food or walk to a few attractions but it probably isn't worth it.

Decent Place To Stay

The hotel was decent, it was clean and had a nice shower. I mainly stayed here for the location. Star bucks, Gap, and The Apple Store was just down the street including a ton of fun restaurants. I only gave it two stars because it didn't have amenities such as a pool, fitness room...It was a decent place to stay if you're looking for a cheaper place.
