Excellent experience!
Staff was friendly, kind and courteous. Went out of their way to help and truly a pleasure to talk to. Location was not far from Union Square, just a short walk from the hotel. Would recommend to family and friends.

Great Stay
Not the best location - as in homeless people all around however it's great value, the rooms are clean, and the staff are really friendly!

Great hotel
Good price for a hotel in San Francisco. Hotel was very clean and staff friendly. I would recommend getting back at night in a taxi because of the homeless people on the street. It was walking distance to Union Square so that was a big plus.

Hotel was clean, recently painted with new carpeting, good, simple breakfast, efficient service, and great location except for the poor immediate neighborhood in the Tenderloin District.

Last Minute Hotel
The hotel staff are incredibly kind, courteous and very helpful in navigating SF. The hotel is a bit older, but still kept clean. The downside is that this hotel is in "the Tenderloin" of SF, which is a rougher part of the city.

30 Year Old Male
If you want to save money, stay here
The staff was great. The hotel is fine; I wasn't impressed. There was no drinking water anywhere, so you have to buy it. Definitely an annoyance. Only one serious issue: location! Terrible location. Every time I went outside, I was concerned (I'm a 30 year old, average size male). When I'm in the hotel, I was fine. I would only stay again in this hotel if I really wanted to save money; otherwise, I would stay elsewhere. I marked that I would not recommend the hotel to a friend, but let me qualify: if you're staying with another person, I say it's fine; if you're alone, and unless you know marshal-arts, I really hesitate recommending it. Stay there if you want to save money. I saved $100.

Overnight Stay
Older Hotel going through renovations. A decent place to stay if all you need is a clean bathroom and a clean bed. The shower doesn't get too hot, so be aware. A simple, basic room converted from what looks like an old apartment. After getting over the shock when you first walk into the room, it is not all that bad if you are ok with simple and basic.

price is ok but hotel is very old. staff is very nice and location is continence . but bath room is terrible. I'm no choice next time.
