We like Kimpton Hotels....
and use them whenever they are available. This is our second stay at the Prescott. Two criticisms. One, we asked for an extra blanket, after an hour we called again and it came about 15 minutes later. The extra chair we asked for never arrived. Secondly, breakfast buffet is fairly priced, but not when they start packing it up 5 minutes after you have ordered this option. If they are going to close the buffet, they should not offer this as an option for lateish breakfast eaters.

First class all the way.
A nice place in town. It was everything we wanted it to be. They made us feel at home -- upgraded us to a beautiful suite, fit us in for dinner at the restauarant even though we were wearing hiking clothes (our luggage managed to make it out of town), and generally spoiled us. We would stay there again and again.

Very comfortable and conveniently located
The Prescott was in a great location. I would definitely go back. Free internet in my room was terrific. Staff was friendly and efficient. The room was small and awkwardly shaped, but that wasn't a problem for me. The hotel seemed to have seen better days, but it was totally fine and absolutely clean. I would recommend the Prescott!

When i arrived to the ...
When i arrived to the hotel i was really excited because i was upgraded to a club level queen. When i opened the door i was extremely shocked. The bed was hard and the pillows were uncomfortable. I can say though the staff was very nice and they were the only part of the hotel i actually enjoyed.

It was nice that it was close to the San Francisco Warf. It is also close to a lot of shops and the Filmore theater.

Terrific Little Hotel
We loved it! The staff was outstanding and very accommodating. As a native of San Francisco, the location could not have been any better. It was right in the heart of where I wanted to be. Union Square was only a block away and you would never even have to leave the hotel for food. The resturant was superb. Access on and off the freeway was easy!

small intimate convenient hotel
i was there for 8 nights. They accomodated my needs and the location worked for me. I liked having breakfast with fresh fruit and yoghurt. i would go back although I found out that I paid more than many of the other guests there.

Great location
The Prescott Hotel is situated in the Union Square area with great shopping within a block. The hotel lobby was very nice with free wine and beer from 4:00-6:00 p.m. daily. In the morning the serve a continental breakfast. My room was a very odd shaped room. The room was clean though and their amenities in the room were nice. A Wolf-gang Puck restaurant, Postrio, is next door. Postrio has great ambience and the food and service was outstanding.

Ein Hotel mit guter Lage
Das Hotel ist direkt am Union Square gelegen. Von dort aus kommt man leicht überall hin. Das Hotel ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen und die Zimmer sind relativ klein. Die Zimmer und Badezimmer sind allerdings sauber und daher nicht zu beanstanden. Das Frühstück im Club Level ist nicht sehr reichhaltig, aber in Ordnung. Insgesamt würde ich das Hotel eher als 3-Sterne-Unterkunft ansehen.
