Enjoyed the Stay
I'm a big Marriott person so for me the location and hotel were great. The only recommendation I would have, is to ask for a room with a view. We stayed in a middle room and our view was the center of the hotel. We enjoyed the actual spa and the massages at the spa were decent.

Dicent hotel, close to points of interest
Good location for tourists, easy to get to the attractions. Not too good at night - lots of homeless people, not enough places to have a good dinner

Great Hotel in Great Location
This hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of San Francisco. It is just off the Powell Station which makes it so easy to take BART to the airport or across the bay to Oakland. Union Square is just a few blocks away. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, if you don't mind the crowds
The staff are very friendly and efficient. The hotel location is superb and central. However it gets a very high volume of traffic and the rooms and amenities show the resulting wear and tear. The bathrooms and fixtures in particular could use an upgrade. if you don't mind the crowds this is a great pick for a downtown SFO hotel within walking distance of a number of attractions and amenities. And of course the view from the View bar and lounge is incomparable, even though it makes for a rather expensive bar bill

Room accessible, as advertised
Quite comfortable, very good location (just steps from Union Square), very helpful concierges, good-sized bathroom, clean, willing to adjust cleaning schedule to when we were out. Wi-fi in lobby is free, and works fine (once you get the hang of how to connect). Free refrigerator if you ask for it. And nice indoor pool.

Great Location
I like the Marriott for its location, but every time I stay there I am infuriated by the parking charges. Not much to do about it - they charge what they can get away with, but it is still very aggravating. Otherwise, perfectly nice giant city hotel.

Great location but expensive.
This hotel is located right near the baseball stadium where we were going. It looks classy and great on the outside but it should since it was expensive. The room was clean and neat but the little extras that I would expect from an expensive hotel were not there. No free room wifi connection, no free newspaper in the morning slid under the door, no fan in the bathroom to defog the mirror when you shower, no extra towels . It was basically just a cleaner version of Motel 6. No reason to be so expensive except its location. Nothing special inside the hotel.
