On the business front, the property sits mere blocks from Moscone Convention Center and boasts 117,000 square feet of its own meeting space (more than any other hotel in town). On the family front, guests can opt for kid-friendly turndown service that includes a bedtime book. Mission Grille, the on-site restaurant, serves contemporary California cuisine. The hotel also has three full-service lounges.

Highlights
  • Family-friendly packages and promotions

Culture at your fingertips

Being able to choose from many easy to reach destinations relieved my worries of not having a fun city experience. The museums within blocks, along with restuarants and clubs, kept us exploring, clocking in a 20,000 step day without effort! The view from the hotel's top floor bar added romance and beauty to this exciting location.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

The tiny folk art museum on the side of the building, with the glass gallery next to it, are worth peeking into.

Hospitality was great!

My daughter and I went shopping at union square. We had a great stay at the Marriott. The restaraunt was great as well as the view from the thiry-ninth floor at The View. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family!

Great Location in the heart of the City.

Very enjoyable experience. A little pricey at the bar but nothing you wouldn't expect at a first class hotel in the City.

weekend getaway

Booked the Orbitz travel package(Hotel&air). Upon checkin at the Marriott I asked if there were any city room views available and to our surprise got a beautiful corner room on the 31st floor at no extra charge. The room is spacious and beautiful and affords a view that is breathtaking.

Dont rent a car. Completly unnecessary in a city that has the best transportation system I've ever seen. The Bart takes you from the airport to almost any hotel within a short walk. The street cars, buses , and muni take you anywhere you want to go at a very reasonable price. (buy a pass at the Powell street station about $6.00 a day.)

HORRIBLE EXPRERIENCE

THE HOTEL LOCATED IN A VERY NICE AREA NEAR SHOPPING CENTER, UNION SQUARE, BUT THE ROOM WAS ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY SPENT. I CHECKED IN AT 11PM AND FOUND THE ROOM VERY SMALL, NOT CLEAN -- THE FURNITURE WAS VERY OLD, THE CARPET HAD STAINS ALL OVER AND THE ROOM WAS VERY MINIMUM AMENITIES, THE HOTEL CLERK PROMISED ME "EXCELLENT VIEW" , BUT, IN FACT WHEN I ENTERED THE ROOM MY WINDOW WAS FACING ANOTHER BUILDING -- AND NO VIEW!WHEN I TOLD THE HOTEL CLERK THAT I DIDN'T LIKE HOTEL AND WOULD LIKE TO CHECK OUT, HE TOLD ME HE CANNOT REFUND ME ANYTHING TILL HE SPEAKS TO HIS MANAGER AND THE MANAGER WAS ONLY COMING THE NEXT MORNING, SO THEREFORE I WAS FORCED TO STAY 1 NIGHT AND PAY FOR ABSOLUTELY UNCOMFORTABLE CONDITION. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE...
