Decent place for a decent price

I was looking for a clean reasonably priced room for a few nights in San Fran near chinatown. This fit the bill. The bed was okay. The room was clean. A decent amount of noise at night, but we are heavy sleepers and only had a few wakeups. A few blocks downhill from the trolley and one away from some bus lines.

Get the 3 day metro transportation pass for $21. It allowed unlimited 3 days access on the trolley, rail, and bus lines.

Not too shabby

Was able to check in at 1:30 instead of 3 which was great. Free parking, although you have to leave your car key with the attendant if you park in the underground garage. Average room, no closet, but there was a coat hanger, TV, nice bed and all bathroom amenities. Good location, during check in I was the only guest speaking English but the front desk spoke perfect English, very greeting, understandable and nice.

5 min walk to Mo's, great diner style place in a quiet neighborhood that is otherwise filled with Chinese restaurants. Good prices, great food.

Inn in China Town

Excellent value. Great loc if you like SF China Town. Free parking, unusual in SF. Staff very helpful. Older hotel, but good for people on a budget.

Great Rates

Best to request room facing parking lot not busy street especially if staying Fri & Sat nites. It was an ok place to sleep for the price. Clean. Beds were comfortable. Fairly close & within walking distance everything.

Fantastic San Francisco Stay

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel! It was our first trip to San Francisco and since we were staying 5 nights wanted something less expensive and we needed parking.The rooms were modern and clean, we didn't have a problem with noise at all! We didn't know what to expect but were so pleased with price, our room and central location! We walked to the wharf, chinatown, little Italy, Union Square, and enjoined every minute of our stay! The lady at check-in was very informative also! Can't say enough, such a positive experience and would recommend to all!

SURPRISED

Was looking for hotel close to FISHERMANS WHARF at good price. It was 80 degrees and no a/c .only heat in rooms,ice machine 25cents(ive never paid for ice at a hotel). Satelite TV means 7channels. So if possiable spend lil bit extra and stay outside of CHINATOWN..

If you are planning on visiting Alcatraz order tickets prior to trip ( nite time tours book months in advance ). Santa Cruz BOARDWALK only open on weekends in off season.

Family visit

My room was small with a matching size closet. Air conditioning would have been welcomed since the temperature was in the 70's. I did use the table fan that was on the closet shelf. The walls are very thin. I heard the conversations of the people next door and the door slamming every time they opened and closed the door. I chose the motel because my relatives live within walking distance. It's in Chinatown and very noisy. Parking is included in the price which is unusual for San Francisco.

Weekend getaway

Room served it's purpose for us as a place to sleep while visiting cool weather and tourist points of interest of San Francisco. Good location in China Town and walking distance to pier 39 and other sights in the area. Free parking was a big plus. TV reception was poor and limited to about 7 channels.
