We had went to San Francisco for a 49er football game at Candlestick Park. [...] checked us in way before the 4pm check in ... time. The room was on the street and very noisy with the public transportation running until midnight there. I was thankful for the public transportation when we attended the game. The windows on the rooms had mold growing from the condensation off of the windows...pretty gross...the room was very small, but the location was excellent. We had a great weekend (49ers WON) and would probably stay here again for the location only.

This hotel was reasonable in price and worked well for our travel plans. It is located close to the Alcatraz boats and ... trolley tours. We could easily walk to any of our destinations. We had a great view of the bay and Alcatraz Island. The Christmas boat parade was viewable from our room. The parking fee was $42.00 a day, which is very expensive compared to other cities we've stayed in. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

There are many restaurants in this area. Anything from fast food to seafood and Italian.

Great hotel and location
The Smith's Nov 16, 2009
Enjoyed the location of the hotel being at Fisherman's Wharf was a plus. We toured Alcatraz, motorized cable tour, bay ... cruise, yosemite day tour, monterey and carmel, wine country, and muier woods. So after being away from the city, it was nice to come to a location that you could just walk out of your hotel and shop and eat. Also rental cars are just a block away and made it very easy to pick and up and return them.

The best way to enjoy San Francisco is on foot. If you have bought the cable car and bus tickets 1, 3 or 5 days, you will be able to hop on and off at leisure. The bridge walk is only half an hour. The Farmers' Market was a lot of fun.
