Great Stay!

We stayed at the Raddison because my girlfriend and I spent Valentines dinner at Forbes Island. We have stayed at numerous hotels in San Francisco but this was by far the best location. The Raddison is walking distance to Pier 39, The Buena Vista, and all the activities on the wharf. The room was immaculate and the staff at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. The only nit picky negative is that the exterior of the hotel needs a make over but I'm sure the salt air takes it's toll on all the buildings so close to the ocean. Also, be prepared for the 30 dollar a day parking which is customary for the area, it is still well worth it. Overall, this is an excellent place to stay and we will definately stay here again.

This has been one of the greatest trips

This was my boyfriend and my first real trip to San Francisco. We celebrated our two-year anniversary and chose the best city to spend quality time with one another. Staying at the Radisson put us in the middle of everything exciting. We walked the entire trip (even the five mile trek to the Golden Gate Bridge). I have never walked so much in my life! I made up for it by eating some of the best seafood I have ever indulged in. Oh! Let me not forget to mention that Ghirradelli Square is right down the street from the hotel..chocolate!! The whole experience can be described as YUM!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

For anyone taking a trip to San Francisco, I would suggest walking and taking in the scenery..you never know what little treasure troves of food or fun you'll find by just taking that extra step. We had breakfast at the most darling little caffe in Little Italy, Caffe Trieste. Sweet cannolis and bitter cappuccino is synonymous with "heavenly."

Great location

The staff is very helpful and friendly Perfectly located to see all of Fisherman's Wharf After you get through the lovely lobby and get to 2nd floor the elevator did not work. After checking in and parking the car on the 2nd level the elevator to the 3rd floor did not work and no sign to indicate same. After 10 minutes the door finally opened and a maintenance man came out. Another time the elevator opened but door would not close.

Great location, great price

Nice hotel- nothing extraordinary, but the price was right and the location was wonderful! Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and the piers and easy access to cable cars to get downtown easily. The phone and tv remote didn't work in our room upon arrival, and was never fixed during our 5 days there, but overall we were happy with the accomodations.

Close to the wharf

lots of hotel amenities-outdoor firepit, concierge...Easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping and wharf. Expensive parking...but its good for 24hours, so we took advantage of leaving car parked after check-out to do some sightseeing.
