trip was great. Remember that hotel parking is an extra fee... Pickup truck was $70.00. great staff. great location.

could be better
To start, the housekeeping staff was extraordinary! One conceirge person and one restaurant waiter were excellent, the bell staff were excellent. All other staff were average. We purchased a "club" room and the club level lounge was shut down two weeks earlier, they did e-mail to inform us of this but it was too late to make itinerary changes. Their alternative to the club lounge being closed was a disaster and completely unacceptable. No mini-bar / refrigerator in the room???? The room was very comfortable but a little small for a "club" level room. You can hear everything in the next room and the hallway, horrible. We were on the top floor so awesome view. Will not stay there again and can not recommend. In hindsight I wish I would have changed our itinerary as soon as I received the e-mail regarding the "club lounge" closure. If the club lounge had been available I might not have been so harsh on this review.

Staying downtown in the Union Square area is the best. Highly recommend the area. Try the St. Francis, I will next time.

very good location, we didn't have a car but we were able to go everywhere we want. Very nice modern hotel, no complain at all.

A holiday breather
We wanted to get away before the holiday and thought a trip to the city to see the Christmas lights and enjoy a romantic interlude would be just the ticket. We were not disappointed! The view from our room was wonderful. The bed was not very comfortable but the linens and comforter were lovely, spa like and fresh! The location was awesome and all interaction with staff was pleasant and helpful. Free wi-fi would have been appreciated though.

Fabulous hotel
We could not have had a better experience. The hotel is wonderful. The staff is incredible. We used the concierge every day, and they sent us to great restaurants and activities. Our room was great. We paid extra for a room with a view, and we had a spectacular view of the city. The gym is really well equiped. We wouldn't stay anywhere else if we go back to San Francisco.

Perfect location
The Parc 55 did it again. We have never had a bad experience at this hotel. It is clean, quiet and located in the heart of the shopping district. It is so close to the cable cars on Powell street..a trip the Pier 39 is easily accomodated. My family LOVES this hotel!

Great Thankgiving away from home
One of our best short trips. 55 Parc place hotel pleasantly surprised us. This turned out to be a great hotel in the center of all sight seeing, shopping and dining. Our goal was to have no rental car, just explore the city on foot and public transport. We did it. The hotel is just a block from BART station, bus, trolley and cable cars. Great San Francisco skyline views from the room.

Great 4-Star Hotel Experience
It's located at the heart of downtown San Francisco; 2 minutes walk from BART station and very close to Cable-Car routes, china town, union station, city hall, etc. ... you can easily get to the Embarcadero through F Line and pay $2/person!! Its only disadvantage is that the WiFi is not free, although there are three computers with the Internet access in 2nd floor ... You can even print your boarding passes and online tickets there!!!
