Upgrade needed
I stayed at parc 55 after a conference for 3 days. This location left a bit to be desired. It is an older hotel and it really shows in the decor and lay out. Even the carpet throughout the building seems to be the original carpet. The rooms are very stuffy. It's an excellent location that's the only reason we chose parc 55. I would recommend the hotel but if your looking the glits and glam this is not the place.

i had a great night staying here.
only needed one night stay. not much time between location hopping. got a clean room with good view. staff was helpful. definitely will stay next time in town.

Great Location
Only gripe is the beggars around the hotel, but they seemed to be everywhere! I wish you had staff to shoo them away. I couldn't even enjoy a smoke outside anyday without being bothered. That was most annoying part, otherwise the hotel is great for the value.

Amazing getaway weekend
Spent 2 nights there and it was lovely. Great staff, very nice and helpful. Perfect location, next to restaurants and public transportation. Easy to take the metro from the airport to the hotel. Very close to the shopping malls and union square which is the center of everything.

Quick Girls Trip
My two friends & I went to SF for the Giants FanFest on Feb 9 2013 & stayed at this hotel that night. The hotel is located in a great location- very close to the Bart station & right off Market street. Our room had a great view of Market street & all the city lights. Since there were 3 of us, we had to get the room with 2 beds...we were surprised how small they were. We thought they'd at least queen sized beds. Also, there wasn't free wifi. It was 14.95$ a night or like 50$ for the week. No thanks. Other than that, our room was great. It was very clean and the staff was very helpful (we needed directions & of course I forgot my toothbrush, which they supplied) I would definitely stay here again!

If you do drive to the hotel, use the parking lot on Mission & 5th. It's only 30$ a night verses the $50 they charge you at the hotel.

New Years in San Francisco
Roy was extremely helpful with our check in. Tried twice to use Conciere service, lady at desk was not attentive and seemed preoccupied. Ate dinner in the dining room, food selection could be better. Stored my suitcase with Bellman and when I got it back my carry on was wrapped around handle and he was kicking/bumping it down the stairs with the handle up and consequently the bracket around the pullup handle is cracked and pulling away from the suitcase itself.

trip was great. Remember that hotel parking is an extra fee... Pickup truck was $70.00. great staff. great location.

Girls trip
This hotel was super nice! We were on the 19th floor & had a great view of Macy's/ Nordstrom in Union Square! The beds were comfortable & the room was a great size for 4 people to stay.I have always wanted to stay here & glad that we finally did! We did not check out the amenities but I'm sure they were great!

Great location... beds need help!
This is a great location, right off the BART station, cable cars, buses and trolley are all right there so you can go anywhere in the city! It is a easy 5 minute walk to the mall, union square and even a nice long stroll (30 minutes) to the Ferry Building. The hotel is very nice, and clean with friendly staff. However, the beds were awful. There were 4 of us in my room, and we all woke up with back/neck aches and soreness from the beds! They were just to firm, but not in a supportive way :( All things considered, if they fixed the beds I would definitely stay here again!
