Historic Nob Hill hotel blends old and new with top-notch steakhouse
The past is new again at this circa-1926 hotel atop Nob Hill. Originally built as a bank, the property features classic stonework, stained glass and decorative touches. The lobby is adorned with Italian marble, rich fabrics and Austrian crystal chandeliers. Guestrooms mirror this classic elegance. The hotel is within walking distance of the city's storied cable cars. Bob's Steak & Chop House, the on-site restaurant, has established itself as one of the best steakhouses in the entire city. Wonderful kid friendly hotel
The staff at the Omni San Francisco was absolutely wonderful. As soon as we arrived, they gave our son a backpack filled with toys and other little goodies. Every evening they delivered milk and cookies before bed time. They were just so wonderfully kid friendly. It made for a fantastic family getaway.

Incredible Hotel
From the doormen to the sheets, everything was perfect. Centrally located, the front desk went out of their way to help us get around. Housekeeping was perfect too. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

If you want excellent food, just pop in downstairs to Bob's Steak and Chop House. Skip the Top of the Mark.

Luxorious and elegant!
Beautiful hotel. Great room with comfortable beds, gorgeous high ceiling bathroom with elegant fixtures. Truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. All the staff including housekeeping were amazing. Wish I could've stayed longer!

A great escape. In the heart of SF!
Wonderful Hotel! The hotel was clean, elegantand quiet. The bed linens were heaven, the mattress comfortable and the room temperature perfect.The staff was discrete but friendly.I was traveling alone and felt very safe.The location was perfect. Omni San Francisco
This hotel was amazing, and the service was impecable. The staff went out of their way on numerous occasions to help us with directions around the city, as well as helping us with anything we needed in the hotel. The doormen always greated us with a warm welcome. They would even provide us with coupons for area stores. The rooms were clean. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable, but if that is my only complaint... I can deal with it! The location of the hotel was perfect. A short walk to the MUNI so you can take bus/subway system anywhere around San Francisco. Very short walk to the trolley if you want to the go the wharf. And, the double decker bus actually stops right in front of the Omni. Perfect! I highly recommend this hotel.

Buy a ticket on the double decker bus. One of the stops is right outside of the hotel, and it takes you to all of the major attractions. The tickets are good for 2 days and you can get on and off as many times a you like. Way cheaper than a cab!

Well Worth a Stay
This is a hotel that makes you feel pampered, but with not a smidgen of snooty attitude. As the doorman said, while helping us maneuver our suitcases to check in, "I'm here to help you." He really meant it. There seems to be a culture of service and "we're here to make your stay enjoyable" that is visible not only with the doorman, but with the people behind the counter, the extremely helpful concierge, the room service people who couldn't do enough for you and the waitress in the restaurant. The hotel is well-situated - just a few blocks from the Ferry Station market, the transportation that will get you to Fisherman's Wharf, and the Embarcadero financial district.

Incredible Service
The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. My room was impeccably clean and simple nuances like having the front door opened for me when I left or came back was really the icing on the cake. It sits at the bottom of Nob Hill kind of off the main drag and for that I was eternally grateful. Nothing worse than not being able to get a drink at your hotel's bar after a long day of meetings.

It's a short walk to the cable car. Hop on and head towards Fisherman's Wharf for an all-you-can chose from deep fried seafood extravaganza and incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.

WONDERFUL!
The hotel was gorgeous, the staff supberb, check-in was efficient and the rooms were extremely comfortable. I would not hestitate to visit this hotel again. If you like comfort, style and location, this is it!
