Good Location, bit pricey
It is a decent hotel in a nice neighbourhood. The only problem is with the parking, the hotel doesnt have it's own place, and the 36$ valet doesnt worth it

Clean & Pleasant
The Nob Hill is old but has lots of charm. Rooms are not huge but updated and comfortable. Not far from Union Square, easy to get to from Van Ness (101). Didn't get a chance to try the Italian restaurant attached to the hotel but up the street is the Nob Hill Grill, a very nice find.

Bad service
I booked this hotel for friends that were visiting for one night. When they went to check in, they were told that the booking was for the day before (which was not true), and they would have to pay again for the current night at full price. Once I gave the hotel the confirmation number, the concierge conceded that the booking was correct but then claimed that I had booked a double bed, not a queen bed. Again, I had to argue that I paid for a queen bed, not a double bed (the queen bed is more expensive), until he finally gave my friends the appropriate room.

Sibling Weekend
The staff was limited, the rooms small with VERY little lighting and no full length mirrors. There was only 1 luggage cart for the entire hotel, and when we arrived it was being used by workers who had parked in the valet parking spot, leaving us nowhere to park, taking down large amounts of garbage downstairs.

San Francisco holiday
The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was stuffy though and the windows didn't have screens in them which made me a little nervous about keeping it wide open. Also the bed was located up against the window so I couldn't have it opened too far at night.

Four day get away
our antisapation was met when we got out our cab. We checked in and were awed by our room. Quiet no city noise what so ever! Was a little disappointed LOL. Breakfast was light, but that was fine as we were headed to Chinatown for lunch. Not a bad walking distance, I am 72, couch potato and did fine. Sure our next trip to the city will find us at the Nob Hill hotel.
