Very isrespectful reception

I don't want to remember the whole nightmare I had there. Just tell you that the person working at the reception was very very disrespectful. He did not even give me a chance to say why I had entered two people staying the a two-bed room (when filling the online forms) while later our group included three. When I contacted online customer service (I booked it through this website), the representative talked to him on the phone and I cannot believe what he told the representative! He totally came up with a new story of his and was mentioning something like "offering a different room to me instead!" which was not the case at all. Anyhow, the elevator seemed like it was falling any minute. Not feeling safe at all. After seeing the room and with all the constant complains I was hearing about 2-3 people situation, I ended up leaving and going to a hotel.

Bad bad bad!

Rats in the lobby, fleas on the couch, didn't stay long enough to meet the bed bugs. They charged a 1 night cancellation fee because "Pests are not a legitimate reason for cancellation". no joke

Will not return

Located on a noisy street in somewhat questionable neiborhood. The area near the hotel looked unsafe during the night. The breakfast is not served before 8 am- little late for business travellers and Internet access is at extra cost. 15-20 min walk to the bart/ convention center. The room was clean but very small and the amenities were somewhat basic. The elevator was not operational during my stay. The 3 star rating is definitively an inflated overstatement (1.5 to 2 at best). I was not thrilled by the experience.

Going to the Ball Game

A friend and I went to a couple ball games. Didn't spend much time there. Just to sleep. Alot quieter then most places I've stayed in SF. I wouldn't stay there if I was on a weekend get away with the girlfriend,or kids. But it was just fine for the boys to go to the games.

Not a bad stay

Went for a sporting event, just a weekend stay on last minute. Pretty decent price for location and walking distances to most hot spots. Secured entrance

Clean with no frills!

Room was very clean, but the beds need replacing as the matresses were sunken. Also continental breakfast was just orange juice, coffee and plastic wrapped up bear claws. Also they had internet, but you had to pay extra for it. Located in Tenderloin area which is a block away from the cleaner parts of SF. Very nice staff and easy walking distance to AT&T park.

O.K. Stay

My wife ran in the Nike women's marathon. We stayed overnight. The room was small, but clean. Our window faced the street-It was incredibly noisy! The room also did not have a/c, so we slept with the window cracked a bit, and it was still very noisy. The upside was the location, right down the street from union square, where the race started.

More like The Lame Hotel

Was charged a different price than the orbitz quote was just the begining. The front desk clerk rudely didn't help us at all. The room had empty beer cans in the fridge, used soap in the bathroom, and no ice machine. The elevator can only be used to go up, it is more of a death trap. When I asked for more than 1 towel, which was in the room rented for 3 people,I was told that I would have to wait till the next day. I had to pay 25 dollars more because my cousin wanted to hang out after being in the room till 9:30. All of this for over $200. WORST HOTEL EXPERIANCE EVER! DON'T STAY HERE!
