Great location/value
The hotel was just a half block from Union Square, and the room rate was a real value. The entire staff was very courteous. They let me into my room in the morning because I arrived early. They held my bags graciously after I checked out because I was not leaving until later. They checked out the closing time of a store for me, and offered me a shopping savings coupon for that store. They even suggested a men's clothing sale near-by. The staff even offered to help me find certain activities and restaurants, but I already knew what and where I was going. The room was spacious by my standards, and very well maintained. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very charming
Nice room with very charming and classy decoration. Very clean. The staff is willing to help you with a big smile. No breakfast but you can have free coffee. And if you want you just go next door to the hotel to get croissants, sandwiches and orange juice...(I went there in my P.Js!)Newspaper at my door every mornings! In the afternoon, complimentary cherry and wine in the lobby !They have a restaurant but too pricey for us (looks good though!) We enjoyed it very much and the location is just perfect, just around the corner of Union Square and the Cable line ! You can go anywhere from there.

Excellent
The Kensington on Union Square was an amazing value and an overall excellent experience. It's located right in the middle of Union Square - just step outside the door for a million dining, shopping and entertainment options. The hotel itself was very nice, I LOVED my room and the extremely comfortable bed. Everything was very clean and in order, and I fell asleep each night to the sounds of a saxophone drifting up from the street. For the price, you cannot find a more satisfying deal. HIGHLY recommended. I will absolutely stay here again!
