Exceptional Staff; Outstanding Hotel
This is truly a world class hotel. The staff was well trained and appeared to sincerely care. The room and amenities were excellent. The location is perfect for both the business traveler, or for those like us who were strictly tourists.

Downtown Luxery
As soon as I had set my eyes on the contemporary 33 story glass tower I knew this was the right place for me. Valet parking and check-in were easy. The room was beautiful with a great view over the city. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I ever had. The bathroom was very stylish and the bathrobe was a nice touch, so was the morning newspaper. The Sunday Brunch at the hotel restaurant was delicious, the service was friendly and the concierges recommendations for outside activities were excellent. Downtown shopping was within walking distance. All in all it was an excellent experience.

Will definitely come back!!
The InterContinental SAN FRANCISCO was very acommadating. Staff were very friendly. The front desk upgraded both my rooms to the club floor since it was my first stay at their hotel. The rooms were great. Had a fabulous view of the bay. The king sized bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful. The location was great and we were able to walk to union square.

great staff
The staff at the hotel were wonderful. Found the location very convenient to public transportation and shopping. Would have liked more dining options, however the restaurant is very highly rated as is their chef recently voted chef of the year from Esquire Magazine.

Great Hotel but Watch the Neighborhood
My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 1 night. Everything was great. It cost $50 to park our rental car overnight, which is just ridiculous.

You can catch a cable car that crosses the entire city just a few blocks away, which I highly recommend for firstt-timers in San Fran. Don't sit inside...stand on the outside of the cable car and hold on, all the way to Fisherman's Wharf.

Grace Under Pressure
I had no idea that the Oracle Conference would be in San Francisco at the same time. The conference was centered at the Mosconi Center right next door to the hotel. We arrived a little early and things were very busy, but the staff was incredible. They did not brush our needs aside although we were pleasure travelers. They immediately put us in beautiful rooms -- one with a view of the city and one with a view of the water. It is a wonderful facility and a good value. It is walking distance from the BART station which brought us in from the airport, and there were buses and cable cars nearby. They provided us with all the information we needed including pages of restaurant suggestions. I would recommend it to anyone traveling to the San Francisco.

Great location - close to great shopping at Union Square
We were delightfully surprised with an upgrade to a wonderful corner King suite. Our first impressions of a wonderful, new and modern hotel carried through to the final moment of departure. The staff are well trained to make sure your stay is a premium experience. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever had with a selection of exotic fruits, salmon and locks and turkey link sausages. (low fat) My wife loves shopping and this hotel is conveniently located near Union Square. Would I come again .. in a heartbeat but I would take the train link from the airport as parking set us back 45$, which we thought was a little steep.
