The InterContinental San Francisco towers over the city, providing one of the newest upscale hotel destinations in the Bay Area. A Michelin-rated restaurant, chic bar, luxurious spa and spacious guest rooms and suites make the hotel a top choice for both business and vacation travel. Rising 32 stories over the South of Market (SoMa) neighborhood, the InterContinental San Francisco hotel provides state-of-the-art meeting and event spaces, as well as convenient access to the Moscone Center and AT&T Park.
Dining

The Michelin-rated Luce restaurant -- located in the lobby of the InterContinental San Francisco -- serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a sleek, urban setting. Seasonal, sustainable ingredients are sourced from the farms surrounding San Francisco for dishes such as the farmer's market omelet with goat cheese and baby tomato, and guinea hen with white asparagus. Luce has been recognized as one of the nation's top restaurants by Esquire magazine and Haute Living magazine.

Bar 888 at the InterContinental San Francisco offers one of the finest selections of grappa and grappa cocktails in the country. Try the Moscone Pear: Dimmi Herbal-infused Grappa liqueur shaken with fresh pear puree, freshly squeezed lime and lemon juice, and a grape garnish.
Rooms
All 550 rooms and suites at the InterContinental San Francisco feature rich wood and marble furnishings, spacious work areas, flat-panel TVs, Wi-Fi Internet access (fees apply) and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city or San Francisco Bay. Pets are welcome (fees apply).
Property features
The I-Spa at InterContinental San Francisco invites guests to pamper themselves. The signature I-Spa customized massage begins with a conversation between client and therapist to create a customized treatment protocol, and a blend of essential oil and sound therapies is created for each individual.

Beautiful Contemporary Green hotel

The Intercontinental is a green hotel with contemporary decor and provides all necessary amenities. We only stayed here for one night, but we will definitely return. The hotel staff, including the front desk, provided exceptional service and were very accommodating to our requests. The rooms include a desk that can be used to work from.

Very Nice Hotel

The hotel was very nice and only 3 blocks away from great shopping, the Trolley car turn-around at Market street. The pool and work out area were very nice. The breakfast buffet is fabulous in what it offers and how it tastes but was too pricey. I was at the hotel for a 4 day vacation with family and it was a nice place to stay, but the hotel seemed to be primarily occupied by the business traveler.

Great location and great value!

I've been to San Francisco Hilton and Marriot in Union Square before, and Intercontinental tops them all in terms of customer service and the facility. It's newer, better, and cleaner than the other two mentioned. Plus, you will get a better view if you are facing the bay side. Little compliment at the front desk got us a room on the 29th floor, and the view was so beautiful, even though the hotel was smacked right in the middle of the Union Squares with all the high rises. Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

Metreon mega theatre is just down the street as well as all the shopping joints at the Union Square. Street felt safer than some other parts of Union Square neighborhood. Walgreens is just few blocks down if you forgot to pack something.

Expensive parking

We enjoyed the view from our room but other than that..hotel experience was disappointing! Airconditioning was so bad..so hot inside the room because AC is unreliable! Please fix! Water supply also was ridiculous! It would take you an hour or two in the shower because water is too slow or almost to nothing! Lastly, the parking is overpriced at 53 + tax ??? It will cost u the same as your accomodation jst for 2nyts parking in the hotel!! Better find another hotel with free guest parking and stay in their suite room coz it's the same price!!

Look for a hotel with minimal charge for parking or free hotel guest parking or else you will end up paying $60 per night for parking! Money should be for dining or shopping not for parking!!
