Intimate boutique lodging near Fisherman's Wharf

This boutique-style hotel is one of the newest in Fisherman's Wharf, and it's also one of the most intimate. From the outside, a brick facade makes the place look like any other wharf building. From the inside, though, an inviting lobby (fireplace and all) and cozy guest rooms invite visitors to stay a while. The property offers complimentary town car service to the financial district. Knuckles at the Wharf is a full service restaurant on site; for Happy Hour, try local elixirs at the Enoteca Musto Coffee Shop and Wine Lounge.

Highlights
  • Located within walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf and the Embarcader
  • On-site wine bar
  • Complimentary town car service to the financial district
Rooms

Considering how retro-looking the building is, accommodations -- 313 rooms and eight suites -- are downright modern. All rooms come standard with flat-screen televisions, pillow-top beds, iHome stereos with iPod docking stations and an ergonomically oriented work desk. Many also offer stunning views of San Francisco Bay as well as Wi-Fi Internet access (fees apply).

Features

Neutral colors and crisp lighting give public areas of the Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf an ultra-modern feel. However, because rooms are cozy, the hotel conveys a sense of intimacy. For leisure, all hotel guests have complimentary access to the 24-hour business center, on-site fitness center and outdoor heated pool and spa. There's also complimentary town car service to the financial district and Embarcadero Center and baby sitting can be arranged through the concierge for added convenience.

Dining

Two on-site restaurants provide diverse dining options. At Knuckles at the Wharf, enjoy tasty cocktails or sandwiches while watching a big game. At Enoteca Musto Coffee Shop and Wine Lounge, sip wine and pay homage to an old Italian family (the Mustos, of course) while nibbling on local cheeses and snacks.

Underground valet parking is available (fees apply).

Great location! Nice room!

We had a great stay at the Hyatt! Only complaint is parking was way too expensive! We ended up parking around the block for $27 less per night!

Getaway for two

Very nice location. They accepted an early check in time and check out time @ 12 pm was nice. Restaurant was very expensive. $24.00 per person is very steep for breakfast. Only down side was a very uncomfortable bed. Over all good experience. Would come back.

Amazing Family Experience

Even though we only got one night in the hotel it was amazing. I really enjoyed being there. After almost 8 hours of driving we needed a good sleep. We also had to take advantage of our small trip to san francisco so it was a lot of walking. So we needed a great place to rest and the hotel was perfect. It was calm and comfortablem, I aldo liked the fact that it had a baby crib which made it perfect for our baby. Thank you alot and know we know what hotel to choose next time we go to San Fransisco.

Party of 4 friends

we arrived after a very long flight to find the rooms we had booked and payed for 3 months ago, were not available, we would be moved into them the next night, which was inconvenient as we were only staying for 3 nights. We were given a free voucher for breakfast, to compensate but would have preferred the correct rooms. Location, service and rooms were good.

The Hyatt at Fishermans Wharf

We had a lovely week at The Hyatt at Fishermans Wharf. The hotel itself is bright and clean and the daily room staff of cleaners kept it so throughout our stay. Athough the hotel seems to charge for everything above and beyond the basic room, there are workarounds. Staff at reception were efficient and professional and generally friendly. The concierge was helpful and seemingly knowledgeable. We did not eat once in the hotel as we were unimpressed with the menus and prices, that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Besides which, there is a very fine, reasonably priced, 5-star breakfast place just across the road from the hotel called the Hollywood Grill and lunches and dinners can be had all over the place in and around the Fishermans Wharf area. The Trams stop/start just a block and a half away from the hotel.

Chinatown is not far away from the hotel (10 blocks or so) or a very short tram ride. It is an amazing place.

San Francisco Trip

Our stay at the Hyatt was great. Concierge Ken was extremely helpful with tips on tours, sites to see, places to eat. Lotus & Effie at the front dest were awesome!! Lotus sent chocolate and champagne for my birthday celebration and Effie arranged for an awesome ride to the airport. All the staff we interacted with were helpful and friendly. We did not run into one rude person on our trip. The staff in the restuarant was great as was the food (bit pricey for us midwesterns but delicious!) I recommend this hotel - short walking distanct to Fisherman's Wharf.
