Industrial chic and unique hotel off Union Square
Hotel Diva is a unique, ultramodern hotel designed by local architect Olle Lundberg, who specializes in metalwork. Like something from a futuristic or science fiction film, Hotel Diva makes a dramatic style statement, featuring Lundberg's trademark sculptured metal headboards and bold color schemes of slate gray and silver with a striking blue carpet, symbolizing a 1930s ocean liner, running throughout. In contrast to the industrial chic, which won Hotel Diva a Best Hotel Design award from Interiors magazine, the service is warm and attentive.

Not what I expected
The staff was friendly and willing to help with any special needs. The room was much bigger than expected. Almost like a little apartment. The beds turned out to be a pull-down located in the living room. Geary is a busy and noisy street. I was awoken many times by outside noise. The bathroom was especially small and did not like that the vanity was separate with hardly any counter space. The room did not have a fridge or microwave. The chairs in the room were extremly uncomfortable. This hotel is recommended for short stays where location is everything, but not for extended visits.

Wonderful Staff,Great Location
The Concierge, was wonderful,full of suggestions,helped with restaurant reservations and how to get all around San Francisco. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Super Location! Loved the food and the Margaritas next door. Walked all over the city, what a beautiful place. Can't wait to go back.

DIVA's Great Personality
We had a wonderful one night stay at the Diva. We were given a upgrade at no charge as we checked in early. This made our stay all the more pleasant. Each time we stay at the Diva we find that the hotel's staff is more and more pleasant and gives us royal treatment. The rooms are wonderful and comfortable. It has a unique and exciting decor that fits the San Francisco feeling. It's location is great as it is in the middle of the theatre district and just a short walk to Union Square and all the shopping located around. With both Starbucks and the Colibri Mexican Bistro downstairs, it is the prefect location. We recommend the Diva to everyone who wants great service, great location at a great price!

The ACT is across the street. Colibri Mexican Bistro is, along with a Starbucks, downstairs. Union Square is just a short walk as is all the great shopping in the heart of SFO.

A fun quirky place
The Diva Hotel is indeed a personality hotel. The staff are great, friendly and very helpful. The lobby and rooms are sort of art deco funky with a lot of stainless steel and interesting decorations. Rooms were small but nice. The location is terrific: right off of Union Square with all its shopping, very near the bus and trolley routes, and a pleasant walk down to the Embarcadero. It's got a Starbucks attached and restaurants in walking distance.

One night only
My wife and I were only in town for one night. We found the hotel staff to be very helpful in helping us decide the best places to check out during our short stay. The Hotel is in a good location and we found we weere able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

Long walk from hotel
It is a long walk to the Fisherman?s wharf, but worth it, and if you pick the right route, you can to take in China Town and the North Beach neighborhood along the way.

A modern Beauty
Hotel Diva is located about three blocks away from union square so it was very convenient. The rooms are a little smaller the shower head is a little lower, but other than that the hotel staff was very nice and the Starbucks next door was awesome! My only complaint was being charged Seven dollars for the three dollar bottle of water I drank. Other than that I couldn't have asked for a better hotel!

Great location-service-room.
This unique hotel in the heart of San Francisco, just one block off Union Square, is an event in itself! The hotel design and theme are very theatre which makes attending Jersey Boys at the Curran directly across the street a treat. The rooms are relatively small, yet very functional and comfortable. I will stay her again and again!

war okay aber nicht mehr
Hotel war sauber und die Lage war okay. Jedoch hatten wir ein Zimmer, welches zum Innenhof hinausging und ca. um 4 Uhr morgens wurden die Mülltonnen geleert, was einen riesen Lärm machte. Ausblick aus dem Fenster war auch ziemlich scheusslich.

Cet hotel pourrait etre parfait,
Cet hotel pourrait etre parfait, mais le service n est vraiment pas à la hauteur du prix! le niveau des chambres superieures"Bold level" ou vous etes censé avoir qques avantages: journal , et bouteilles eau tous les jours, départ tardif... en fait il faut RECLAMER TOUS LES JOURS. la chambre n a pas été faite une journée sur 5!
