Quick San Fran Trip
We needed a place to stay that was by the airport and Candlestick Park. The Holiday Inn fit what we were looking for. The free shuttle to/from the airport was about the best thing the hotel offered. Check in was a breeze, but when we got in to the main elevator, a strong smell of mold/mildew was in the air. When we go to our floor, the scent was even stronger. We thought maybe the scent would stay in the hallways and not affect our room. We were wrong. The strong smell was in our room as well. The room was semi clean. I wouldn't want a baby crawling on the carpet, but it was livable. The shower had hot water. The sink drained slow. We stayed on the 3rd floor and we could open the window which needless to say did not have a screen or any type of safety features. We paid $124 for a Saturday night. Which is decent for near SFO, but could have paid less at another establishment with no terrible smells. The sports bar/dining was convenient, but seemed under staffed at times. Food was okay and not too highly priced. So if you are looking for a short hotel next to the airport with a heavy odor of mold/mildew, this would be the place for you. This hotel does not stand for the Holiday Inn.

Easy drive to SFO
I booked this room because it was 5 minutes from SFO and it proved to be a great idea. The hotel itself is average, had a weird smell in the lobby and elevators. But, the room did not. We had a king bed with white linens and everything seemed clean. The only thing provided was Coffee packets. There was a restaurant/bar/lounge in the lobby area which was convenient. And the hotel charged $10 for parking. All in all the hotel was average.

Bed Bugs!!
When I checked in the woman at the desk asked another front desk person, "Is 304 okay? " in a strange tone. I brushed it off, just happy to be at the hotel. After a nights rest, we were showered and on our way, when we say mutiple bed bugs crawling on the pillows and in the bed. We called the manager and he came up and told us, " I will send this info to the general manager and he will get back to you." He never did. My husband and daughter slept in that bed and have many bites, YUCK! My son and I slept in the other bed and did not have any. It seems that they knew that there was a problem with this room and booked us in it anyway. In addition, it was the handicap room. So gross, do not stay here!

Good conference Facility
Hotel just north of SFO. Industrial type area. There is a small.conference center in a cluster of Hotels. Very convenient to stay and walk a cross the driveway to the center which was very nice and spacious. Beds very comfortable. Updated Br fixtures good food in restaurant just off of lobby.

Okay
Recently updated but not the shower tub area. Room smelled vaguely smokey. Bed and bedding very comfortable. Worked for our stay. Difficult area to navigate freeway exits. In the crux of an interchange. Very close to airport. Pricey for what you get. Better to book a boutique in the city if that's where u r headed.

Basque Cultural Center is close and a hidden gem for dining. Super casual, amazing food, large portions and really friendly staff, definitely would go back.

Airport holiday old tired needs to be torn down and rebquilt
Our room was smelly upon entrance no heat or air conditioning and to top it off our room was right above the elevator equipment room all you heard was hydraulics all nite long and they charge you park in their lot do not stay here please
