Fishermans Wharf trip
The Holiday In Express was very nice for our stay. We did stop at the very close Holiday Inn and were directed to the Holiday Inn Express, but that was easily overcome. Its a great location, the trolly is very close for accessing some attractions,e.i. the Ferry Building, its a very short walk to Fishermans Wharf and all its got to offer. The Harbor cruise was well worth the time and money. Even though you didn't give me the opp to get the senior discount!! It would of been nice to have been fortold of the parking rate at the hotel. $43.00!!?? All in all will do it again. PS I appreciate the offer of the 5% discount, but I never received it towards this trip, starting in Pismo Beach. I sent you a questionable e-mail but never received a answer!!??

good spot to stay
This hotel is perfect for travelers who are going to spend most of their time out and about and are going to use the room just for rest. The location provides a couple of days worth of entertainment along the piers, and more to do with very short cab drives to chinatown and north beach. The free breakfast is nice, but also try one of the little cafes next door for an even better meal.

Attractions that seem to be within walking distance may be harder to reach because of the hills, but all the wharf attractions are on level ground. I found that waking up early and walking around the wharf area before the crowds show up was the more relaxing way to sightsee.

Great location, breakfast, price
This hotel had a great location, and staff were always polite and helpful. The "free" breakfast was wonderful, beds were comfortable, and bathrooms were very clean. I totally enjoyed my experience and would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

Call ahead to the hotel to find out the best in tour group services. Then book online with the companies that offer the best. We printed vouchers for everything at home and saved time and trouble.

Great value and location for the price
This hotel is ideally situated close to Fisherman's Wharf and lots of tour bus locations. It is within easy walking distance to the cable and trolley cars. It is also within walking distance to many major attractions, such as Pier 39 and Ghiradelli's Chocolate Factory. Our only concern was that our room overlooked a space that was hemmed in by three other walls full of rooms looking down at the same space. As it was our first time in San Francisco it would have been nice to have a better view. We found the service from the housekeepers to be excellent and the sheets and bathroom were looked after very well. Had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to others.

Short walk from hotel
If you are a senior you can take a short walk down to the F line trolley car by the Walgreen's and catch the Trolley car for only 75 cents US. You receive a transfer that is good to catch the Trolley car back again if you wish to return in a couple of hours. This line will take you down to the Embarcadero and down to Union Square and the shopping. Great value for the price.

Comfortable and convenient
If you're looking for a comfortable, clean hotel that's conveniently located to MUNI stops, cable cars, and Fisherman's Wharf this is your place. Although healthy breakfast choices are limited, you have many local cafes nearby that have wonderful breakfast options at reasonable prices. Staff is very helpful and housekeeping is thorough. Would definitely stay there again.

The "Express" Low down
Great location for visiting Fisherman's Warf Rooms were clean and comfotable. If your looking for a clean simple hotel with a good location then this is it. The only issue is the parking. It cost $43 + Tax to park your car there. You can go in and out as much as you like but I thought that was a bit steep. It wouldn't have hurt so much or been noticed if they just included it in the cost of the room. If you are using the public transportation then no worries. The hotel is close to the cable car lines and bus lines

Walking distance to the heart of the wharf. Excellent service. Very clean. parking was not included in the price.
