Highly recommend this hotel!
My husband and I were very pleased with every aspect of this hotel. I must say that the location was excellent! The breakfast was great, staff were very nice and helpful and the room had everything we needed. We will stay there again during our next visit to beautiful San Francisco.

Had a wonderful lunch UPSTAIRS (downstairs is a different menu) at Alioto's restaurant on the wharf. My husband has been eating there for 50+ years and he says the food has always been great! We had the best calamari and delicious crab sandwiches with a beautiful view of the marina in the back ground. We will always eat a meal there when visiting SF!

Runner for Nike Marathon
Perfect Location to Site See and Take Tours
Just walking distance away from doing all the tours and shopping at pier 33 & 39. Wife and & I first trip and we couldn't have asked for better location. Only true down fall of the hotel is you have to walk 1 1/2 blocks to enjoy the pool or hot tub, and the rooms are in need of up-dating. But hey your not there to sit in the room all day. Your there to be out and enjoying yourself. We will be back next year.

View of Courtyard
Upon checking into our room we discovered that a view of the Courtyard really meant a view of our neighbors windows. If you were able to open your window wide enough to get your arm out, you could have touched the window on the side wall of our room. VERY close quarters. We just ended up not opening our curtains if anyone else dared to open theirs. And the courtyard really was just a square of concrete. The room was very small so it was kind of disappointing we couldn't open the curtains to get at least a feel of something bigger.

No fridge, no microwave, no bar socializing area, rooms small and nothing special. BUT nice free breakfast, fantastic location, and GREAT helpful staff. Would definately stay again. The trade-offs were worth it unless someone goes on vacation just to hang out at the hotel...

Excellent Location
Had a great time ! The Hotel was right down in Fisherman's Wharf and close to North Beach. Was a great time, and would easily recommend, especially with the free parking.
