stayed in better places

I have stayed in SF about a dozen times. The hotel was too business oriented. Room was TINY!! Bathroom was small and not clean when I arrived. Too much going on with no personality. But it was a decent location. By far the worst hotel I have stayed in SF.

Maybe it's SF's fault...

TINY room. Clean, nice, but TINY Comfortable bed. What they do not tell you, is that if you are going to park at the hotel...get ready to fork over to 45 bucks A NIGHT. Had I known that going in, I would have stayed elsewhere.

Very Small Room

Was expecting 2 queen beds, but were not available at check in. Our room was not what we expected. The room between the bathroom and bedroom seemed to have talking and laughing during the night. Room did not match up to our expectations.

Over Rated

Very good location but very poor value with some rude staff members. No complementary anything! You have to pay $16/day for wired in room internet, no wireless available in your rooms. The wireless internet in the lobby was also pay for use at $15/day. Parking is $50 per day and they charged me $16 to park just to check in and unload my car. If you want to work out it's $15 per day, and stay clear of the mini bar that charges $10 for a bottle of water Old school small tube TV in corner that can't be viewed from bed. I travel quite a bit for work and pleasure and this definitely goes down as my most disappointing hotel stay that I can remember. The door men stood around outside and didn't open the door for you even when your hands were full.

Don't bother with a rental car. Parking is very expensive, and the public transportation is excellent. Lot's of Taxi's around too.

Not worth it!!

I am not sure if it was Hilton or Orbitz that mislead us to believe there was continental breakfast and free parking..... We are not very happy at all!!!! It costed 50.00 for parking which was unexpected. If we had known that ahead of time, we would have not stayed there. And for the price, coffee and food would have been nice. Other places provide it why can't they? We will not pay 7.00 for a pot of coffee in our room. Way uncool!!!!VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH ORBITZ!!

Not exactly what I thought

Well, first, the way [...] promotes this hotel; or at least how my husband and I read it; was that included internet. Well, it did not include only internet but also parking or breakfast. Parking was extremely expensive, more than NY. I don't know how hotels can get away with only offering rooms and no additional guest services. There was not vending machines in the floors; only ice machines.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Parking around 2 blocks from the hotel (Eddy Street) can save you 100% of the parking cost of Hilton Hotel. The new parking charged us 25 USD in compare to around $45-50 that the Hotel was asking.

Not Happy

We are Hilton Honors members and have stayed at Hilton properties frequently - we were not greeted in any welcoming way. Furthermore - we were told that because our stay was booked through a third-party reservation [...] - we would not get any points applied. I had never heard of that and asked why - and was just told it was their policy....The agent at Hilton hotel made me feel like pond scum.

Bad choice for romance

No bathrobe, no tissues, broken shower, no wine glasses, no late check-out. Valet parking and you have to walk a half mile to get to lobby. It's a wonder how this hotel is 4 star rated. Never go there unless your company pays for it~!!!
