Very prompt check-in, welcoming reception and no delays. Very comfortable room with tea and coffee facilities. Excellent location - close to shopping, cable cars and Union Square. Internet access available in the lobby at a daily charge.

Large and busy hotel in a great location just a short walk from the BART station, Union Square and great shopping stores. Everything you would expect from Hilton. Great value when the price is right.

We had a great stay here Location, service and pricing were excellent Just be aware that the Starbucks inside the hotel closes very early so you will need to walk one block towards Union Square for the coffee

Friendliest Staff Ever
Every staff person, from the front desk to the waiters to the security guards, was friendly and helpful. Room was big and clean. The only thing missing was dining options--there is only one restaurant on site, and it is pricey (but good).

Great Hotel!
I have no complaints about this hotel. It was in a great location, has a great staff, and is very nice. The hotel staff even gave us a late check out without an extra charge. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel
Nice hotel. Location is great: 5 minutes from Powell station, center of the city. Rooms are shiny and clean. Hotel is huge so be prepared for lines to registration desk. Pro: 1. Location 2. Free Wi-Fi in the lobby 3. Nice rooms with fresh interior Minuses: 1. Small bathroom (though very comfortable) 2. HUGE territory of hotel itself (20+ floors, 3 towers - easy to get lost) Will stay again and will recommend to friends.

John's Grill, 95 Ellis Street - just PERFECT steaks (5-minute walk from Hilton hotel). Close to Powell station as well (2-minute walk)

Great place to stay in SF
Perfect location for short walks to shopping, cable cars, etc. We saw the entire city while there. Friendliest hotel staff of any place we've ever stayed--anywhere. The hotel cars for transport to SFO are great. We had the most charming driver. Nice hotel bath products and very comfy beds. Would definitely recommend the Hilton SF Union Square.
