July 4th weekend @ the Hilton

We went to the Infusion Lounge which was like 3 minutes away from the hotel, so it was very convenient. Since it was July 4th weekend, it was pretty crowded but the staff was friendly. There were lots of security. The hotel is close to many restaurants. The room we stayed in was a 2 standard queen bed and was quite smaller than the Hilton on Kearny. The only complaint I would have is that there are no vending machines!

There are a lot of shopping that you can do around there. I personally didn't do a lot of shopping but I did stop at H&M for a quick buy.

Unbeatable location for the price

My trip to San Francisco was fabulous! I have no complaints with reference to the hotel nor its staff. I will definitely stay at the Hilton again and recommmend it to family and friends for staying not eating.

San Fran Hilton

I previously lived in San Fran about 5 years ago and wanted to return to visit friends and show my boyfriend around the city. We chose to stay at the Hilton because we got a great price with our flight and the location is perfect. You can walk right outside to tons of stores and restaurants and there is always a cab waiting. The public transportation is great and easy to access from this location as well. Union square is right outside and you can walk to china town too. The hotel provided a cab service back to the airport. I really have no complaints about my experience. Good deal. I didn't like the front desk lady that checked me in but I liked averything else.

the excitement of Bagdad By The Bay

The hotel was fine. I am very upset with Cheap Tickets because you failed to deliver the free overnight parking and the the free breakfast as promised on your July 11, 2009 website when I booked this stay online. Calls to your customer service representative and her supervisor were fruitless. THE SAME SPECIAL OFFER IS LISTED IN YOUR CURRENT WEBSITE FOR THE SAME HOTEL ON AUGUST 24, 2009! Unless your correct this gross failure to perform, I will cease doing business with Cheap Tickets and book our November vacation to Vienna with another, more reliable and honest company.

Excellent Stay!

Went to SF for a family vacation and had a wonderful time. Selected this Hilton based on the location, excellent reviews, and the fact that I'm a Rewards member and try select Hilton hotels when traveling on business. Staff was very friendly and professional.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

Only a few blocks to the shops @ Union Square and the cable car stop. China Town is about 5-6 blocks. Other tourist areas such as Fishermans Wharf, Pier 39, Golden Gate Park, Presidio, etc., can be reached via this city's excellent public transporation service (bus, trolleys and cable cars) - I recommend purchasing a Muni pass. If renting a car, there are 2 garages across the street from the hotel which are substantially lower than parking @ the hotel.
