Hotel was in the middle of all the action, close to public transportation, excellent buffet breakfast, and wonderful service. The only problem we had was the inability to get wi-fi in our room. We told the front desk, they tried to fix it and
could not so they moved us to a different room where it worked.
The room was perfect and clean and comfortable. It was Ina great location for shopping and a few bars, and just a trolley ride away from the wharf! Breakfast each morning was touch since the wait at the Starbucks was VERY long, but other than that
it was great!
Great service by the front desk staff. Great location, walking distance from Union Square and restaurants. The only thing that was a bit of an inconvenience is that the elevators get very busy when there's an event and you try to get to your room
at the same time the conference ends. Hotel is not new but was recently renovated and looks great.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
Just across the street (Taylor Street exit) there's a great diner, my favorite breakfast place in SF: Taylor Street Cafe.
My family stayed in Hilton on Thanksgiving night. Great location, closer to shopping, and restaurants. Walking distance to BART station, and cable car stops.
The room is average. The service is slow. It took 20 minutes to check in for non HH
member. Could due to the holiday.
