I'd definitely stay here again

This little hotel was awesome considering the price. It was spotless and right in the heart of everything. Other reviewers have complained about the size, but it was fine for our family of 2 adults and 3 kids. Staff was friendly and helpful, and there was no noise at all, except the awesome sounds of the city coming in with the fresh air through the open window. This was our first time in San Francisco, and if we go back we'll stay here again. The parking garage is 3 or 4 blocks away, but not a big deal.

great locatet

was a perfect place for me to see the city, stayed for 5 nights, just was in the room to sleep, during the day and night i was on the road. one bad thing was that you hear your neighbours when they took a shower or speak with normal voice,so it`s a hotel to go out in to the city, cable car california line stop is only 1 block away, it is located in chinatown next to the beginning of chinatown, alot of souvenirshops are around and a lot of food place. it`s worth for a 2star hotel, 24hour entrance possible.

Great for active travelers!

It's a basic hotel in a not so basic location. The room size has enough to unpack, shower, change, upload photos on their free wi-fi, and sleep. Although we only got the small 2 bed room, we found it perfect for when we needed it late every night after exploring the city all day. And waking up in the middle of the downtown core, on the edge of china town was a perfect point to expand out everyday. Ideal for active travelers and couples.

Great Location

The location and price should be your main consideration to stay here. Other things are ordinary.

I was here for 4 nights, the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel does not have large rooms or a lot of amenities but it has a great location and very good price. The rooms are also pretty clean.

Affordable Get Away

This Hotel is in an older building. The windows stay open and you can hear everything that is going on in the hotel at any given moment. The floor boards squeek and the room was one of the smallest I have ever seen. However, the price was incredibly low and I had no trouble getting from place to place as this hotel is situated one block inside Chinatown, one block up from the Dragon Gate. Everything in downtown San Francisco is in walking distance. I walked to Alcatraz pier one day and to the Moscone Center on several others. I had to bus to the Pacific and to Golden Gate Bridge, but everything else is in walking distance from your doorstep!

We had a great time staying here! The rooms are small but the location is absolutely perfect! If you plan on doing a lot when you're in SF and don't plan on being a bum in your hotel, stay here! Front desk staff were very nice and helpful!

Need a place to crash?

We got here late one night from our flight from Las Vegas. Eventho it was very very late, we checked in with no problems. placed in the heart of China Town and the Financial District, there is plenty of places to eat and drink. Just a few short blocks to Union Square this hotel is good for the traveler who will be out alot! inside the room.... Very very old, but it was perfect for the lone night we stayed. if I had to stay there again for (1) night I would.
