High-rise elegance only a block from Union Square
Located a block from bustling Union Square, the 36-story Grand Hyatt San Francisco towers over many of the other hotels in the area. Elegance is the theme here, with an opulent lobby and floor-to-ceiling windows in guestrooms upstairs. Some guest rooms even are allergy-free. OneUP Restaurant and Lounge, located on the Mezzanine level of the hotel and overlooking the vibrant and inviting lobby, is an American bistro incorporating classical cooking methods to create unprovincial, artistic and inventive food, sure to delight the palate and stimulate the senses.

Outstanding Service
We used the Staff at the Grand Hyatt for Directions, Reservations and Recommendations throughout our stay, and they were RIGHT ON EVERY TIME. It was a pleasure to stay with such friendly and knowledgeable people. It would be our great pleasure to return to this Hotel.

Great access to Moscone Center
The Grand Hyatt San Francisco was a comfortable place to stay with great access to the Moscone Center. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. It was also quiet and I walked around the area late at night and felt safe.

Excellent location and wonderful staff
The Grand Hyatt was in a wonderful location in the heart of Union Square. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and very nice. We thought that the room was fantastic! It offered great views and very adequate space for a comfortable stay. I would wihtout a doubt stay at the Grand Hyatt again. It was a top notch hotel, we were very impressed with everything!

Good Location
The Grand Hyatt has a great central location for the San Francisco tourist or business traveler. Staff was outstanding across the board. Our room had no ventilation but in San Francisco none is typically needed. All else first rate, especially the staff. Lots of shopping in the immediate Union Square neighborhood, Chinatown is just a few blocks away, Fisherman's Wharf a walkable distance. Close to public transportation including famous Cable Cars and the retro F Train. Cabs everywhere.

Good location, okay room
This is a great location next to Union Square. There are a lot of things to do and see within walking distance and many restaurants. The only complaint I have is that the room my wife and I stayed in had a big tear in the carpet that was poorly repaired, and things seemed somewhat run down in the maintenance area. Overall, I'd still stay there, but it wasn't quite what I would have expected for a Grand Hyatt.

Great Hotel
The Grand Hyatt in San Francisco was a wonderful hotel for our vacation there. The staff could not be any friendlier. Ther Concierge desk was extremely helpful in assisting us in navigating the new city. Wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to stay at.

Customer Service oriented
The Grand Hyatt Hotel was very comfortable. My children especially liked the I-pod radio hookup! The location was excellent , close to all we wanted to do in San Francisco especially ChinaTown.

Excellent Staff
The hotel itself was quite nice, but we really felt that the parking charge was a bit much per day (maybe this is the norm in San Fran and we just aren't use to it, but we are from the Philadelphia area, so no small town folks here). The staff was extremely, helpful and at all times polite right down to the man that delivered a frig for us. The rooms themselves could use better television remote controls (this from the husband of course) and more reasonable fees for movie rentals.

Great Location
The room was very comfortable with a very nice shower, but the one big advantage of the Grand Hyatt is it's location. I would absolutely stay there again.
