Great Room

The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The design was beautiful. It was central to everything. I loved that there was a robe, but I wish there were two. However, there was no sugar or cream for my coffee.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Only take the cable car once. It's a great experience, but it is not worth paying $6 per person and waiting in a huge line every time you are trying to get across town. The bus is a third of the price and is super efficient.

Great for a SF getaway

We stayed one night for a little getaway. It is a quick 4 block walk to Union Square and close to the financial district too. The room was small, but nice. It was clean and the bathroom was nicely remodeled. There was a large flatscreen tv with quite a few channels and free wifi. The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet. They had a small workout room which my hubby used. They have a wine reception in the lobby from 5:30-6:30 which was very popular with the guests. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

We will be back

Staff was very helpful. Bed was comfortable a big plus, street noise during business hours, heavy curtains helped block the noise. Was quiet during late sleep hours. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

GREAT week in San Francisco

The only thing missing was a larger restaurant in the hotel. Location was perfect. Easy access from the airport via BART (lowest cost). Easy access to Trolleys and Cable Cars. No need for a rental car. We took a City Tour, visited China Town, Fisherman's Wharf (Pier 39), Alcatraz, Wine County, Yosemite National Park, and the Aquarium. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. They were especially knowledgeable in where to go and helpful in making reservations.
