good position and reasonable rate
This hotel is just in the downtown area and close to the cable car stop. The room is clean and sweet. It is very convenient for us to travel around the downtown area, and the nearby shopping mall is a good place for shopping and dining. Overall, we are satisfied with this hotel.

first time staying at this hotel and I liked it! the service is mm okay could be better but not so bad. the hotel is very clean and cozy you kinda feel like if your at home. the complimentary wine in the evening is great. beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of hot water. is very close to everything including this awsome place call uncle vitos which has good food. only thing is that we asked for an early check in and our room wasnt ready. not too happy about that. over all great hotel.

GREAT HOTEL!! EXCELLENT LOCATION!!
IT WAS MY FIRST TIME IN sf AND ILOVED IT!! THE HOTEL WAS PART OF WHY I DID. ALTHOUGH I DIDNT SPENT VERY MUCH TIME THERE. THE LITTLE I DID WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE LOCATION IS GREAT CLOSE TO CHINATOWN.. A FEW BLOCKS FROM FISHERMANS WHARF, NEAR UNION SQUARE ITS BASICALLY CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. INCLUDING THE STOP OFF THE CABLE CARS. THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY AND THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN CLEAN. WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT.ALTHOUGH A BIT SMALL BUT THERE WAS ENOUGH ROOM FOR ME AND A FRIEND. THE BEDS ARE SO COMFORTABLE. ONLY THING I WISH THEY HAD WAS A MICROWAVE WE HAD TO ASK IN THE FRONT DESK TO HEAT US SOME PIZZA. BUT OVER ALL GREAT HOTEL. I WOULD DEFINATELY STAY HERE AGAIN ON MY NEXT VISIT.

Disappointed with the Executive Hotel
An extremely convenient location, but the room was oddly shaped and the bathroom layout ... awkward. Staff denied any knowledge of our reservation upon check-in, even with a printed confirmation, and were very rude. A most unpleasant experience. The Hotel no longer offers the continental breakfast, although it is still advertised that they do. Would not go back to this hotel, but do like the general area for convenience/access/safety to cable cars, Chinatown, Japantown, Ferry Plaza, Union Sq. Rode the cable cars; had dinner in Chinatown; enjoyed the shops & Farmers Mkt at the Ferry Plaza; shopped in Union Sq. All are in close proximity to this hotel. Many great little breakfast places to choose from close by.

Buy a pass for the cable cars and trolleys rather than pay per-ride. Works out to a much better deal, and more convenient. There are several locations you can buy 1 and 3 day passes. The Farmers Market operated on Tues & Sat at the Ferry Plaza on the waterfront is fun. Had a great takeout BBQ chicken lunch from one of the vendors, ate on the waterfront with a spectacular view. The Palais des Beaux Art is a fun place for a picnic and a hidden gem.

Sweet little hotel in a great location
Although the room was a tad small and oddly set up (the sink was in a closet like room separate from the bathroom) it met our needs. I traveled with a friend to sight-see and explore the city, we were hardly in the room except to sleep and it served its purpose. There was some loud noises late in the night and very early in the morning that woke us up, but let's face it, this isn't a B&B nestled in the secluded woods, you are in the heart of a city! So if you are a light sleeper you will prob be upset by this. BUT we were so worn out from sightseeing nothing woke us longer than a minute or two. All of the staff we encountered were super friendly and I even checked out and left a valuable ring behind and the housekeeping staff returned it to the desk (I had noticed a couple hours later and it was waiting at the desk for me). The hotel is in IDEAL location just one or two blocks from Union Square where you can catch all of tours/travel info/ restaurants etc. and a STEAL for the price we paid for it. They offer a continental breakfast, which only consists of coffee, tea, muffins and cheese danish, but that is more than you get from any of those ritzy hotels. Although I did not get back to the hotel in time any of the nights I was there, they do have a wine tasting of local wines in the evenings. A great little treat!! Overall, I would rate this hotel perfect for anyone just looking for a place to crash while exploring everything that San Francisco has to offer. If you are in need of tons of room in a hotel however I would be sure to ask for one of there sweets because a regular room won't cut it. Otherwise, thank you to the vintage for a wonderful stay!

Short walk from hotel
The hotel offers a very expensive parking rate and for any newcomers to the city just a little tip, the meters are free from 6p-7a weekdays and sat and free on Sun and there is usually a place to park within a block or two so don't get sucked into this!

Great location, street rooms noisy.
Personnel very helpful and courteous. Continental breakfast a plus. Front rooms are noisy. Location only 2 blocks from cable car - makes it easy to go to Fisherman's Wharf and shopping. Would stay again for the price.

Great value and location in San Francisco
The best amenities of the Executive Hotel Vintage Court are its friendly, very helpful staff and the location. The rooms were nice enough (odd mismatching decor aside) and the breakfast and wine tastings a big plus. My friend had to change rooms-her first one was right over the alley with a glass recycle bin below her window and she couldn't sleep. But they switched her to an inner room and there was no problem. I would recommend this hotel and would/will stay there again.

Recommend Sears Food, Luque's restaurant in the Chancellor Hotel, and City Grill on Geary (the skirt steak is delicious!)-all less than 5 minutes from the hotel's front door. Also-let the consierge call you a town car to SFO if you have more than one person-it's the same price as a taxi but felt like a luxury!!

Fantastic Friendly Staff
Executive Hotel Vintage Court in San Fransisco was perfect for what my girlfriend and I were looking for. It gave us a taste of what living in San Fran would be like. The rooms were small and felt like an apartment. The bathrooms were very similar to one you might have in an apt. of your own. No fancy bathtubs or anything. I LOVED that about the hotel though. If future guests are looking for a spacious & luxurious hotel, this isn't the one for you. The staff and check in guys were real helpful in directing us where to begin our site seeing adventures. The happy hour in the lobby was so fun to socialize after a long day of site seeing. To be honest, we didn't dine at the restraunt located in the hotel, so no comments available on that!

Fishermans Warf is a nice walk from the hotel, approximatley 20 minutes or so. The trolly runs directly in front of the hotel if you choose to take that to the Warf or to Giradelli.
