Looks of Haunted Hotel
We had a reservation in Hotel Encore. After a long search we located it only to find that it had no front Desk / Reception. For this we had to go to Nob Hill Hotel and it was already late in the night. So it took us now half an hour to search this hotel. This hotel (Nob hill and Encore) doesn't have parking as they are located in Downtown. Hence we had to cough up 20$ for overnight parking. The Nob hill hotel reception gave us a room in same hotel (instead of Encore). This hotel is very old and I believe that the building should be of 1940's. It looked really haunted. The single bed was very small with just little space to walk around the small bed. I believe that it was not even a queen bed when we had paid for King bed. The corridors and lift of the hotel can freak you out specially if you are all alone. One of the worst hotel I stayed in.(Nob Hill) Only advantage it has is that its in Downtown. I won't recommend this hotel however cheap its fares are.

Really cheap digs in San Francisco
I used the room as a base from which to visit my adult son. The room was old and noisy but generally clean. I had a small kitchenette and two beds included in my room. Reasonable parking available in a secure lot next to the hotel. I'll stay there again.

The main office of this hotel is in another hotel several blocks away. I'd advise parking in the nearby parking garage then walking the few blocks to check-in.
